Graziella's Artisan Pizza Co. — Restaurant in Sandwich

I really want to love this place but I can't. I've eaten here about 8-10 times now, so I've tried a lot of things from the menu. The pizza has always been pretty good. I've never really been disappointed with the pizza. Some other stuff isn't so good though. I ordered a salad once and the pita bread that it came with was moldy. Then I got brave and ordered a burrito one day. It's a pretty standard burrito but instead of wrapped in tortilla it's wrapped in pizza dough (why?). The dough was almost entirely raw on the bottom. It was pretty much inedible. The chicken parm sandwich was made with standard food service chicken tenders. They looked very processed like fast food chicken nuggets do. Not whole white meat cuts, it appeared they were ground and pressed into shape. The sauce was horrible, so much seasoning. Looked like it came from a bucket. A lot of the ingredients they use appear to be standard food service stuff (Edit: They do use Boar's Head cold cuts in sandwiches like the classic Italian, which is great). Why not just bread and fry your own chicken breasts? It would make the dish exponentially better. The calzones aren't terrible either, but I've had a couple that have suffered from raw dough. The nachos have always been awesome. Good stuff.

Bottom line: order the pizza or nachos. I've given 3 stars because they're a pizzeria and that's what they do best. I also like the online ordering and delivery. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Its decent, iv had better pizza down the street from these guys and its ten times better. ya the pizza looks nice but it isnt as great as I would think it would be, but they had good deals before it was surfs up, but the staff dont know what they are doing. Iv come here multiple times and it seems there is always something wrong with an order, simple instructions and sometimes it seems it cannot be done. Even when friends order they always seem to have a problem with orders all the time, they are always telling me things that happen, its kind of a running joke between us. This place sometimes dont even know how to make there own menu items. Ether putting in my order wrong,forgetting it, or just not making it right. 9 times out of 10 there will be something missing or something wrong, most times iv gone here its never been 100% to order. Some pizzas I got where super overcooked almost black, and it was still given to me like..... hello, would you eat this? did you even look at the pizza? Nope....just threw it ina box and passed it on. Even when it was surfs up before they renamed it, the buy one get one free pizza day, half the people would forget it was a thing, like.....do these people not teach the staff or is the staff just that...

Edit- after calling about the order, staff was very warm and recognized the issue. Offered a refund, and manager was very nice.

Hard to write this, as I'm not one for giving bad reviews, but this was truly bad.

Ordered a chicken avocado sandwich, large Italian sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, standard oil and vinegar, 6 wings, and fries.

Chicken avocado sandwich- just look at the pictures. Avocado was clearly old. Didn't even attempt to slice the avocado. Just cut in half and slapped on some bread. It's also supposed to come with a balsamic dressing which was also missing. At least there was a sprinkle of about 5 pieces of lettuce.

Wings- ordered crispy, which they were, but somehow still cold at the same time.

Fries- cold
