I never write reviews however I have to with this branch. I normally don’t order Pizza, but I was running late and couldn’t get to the grocery store so I thought I wouldn’t order the sandwich and pasta from Domino’s. Set the delivery would be in 24 minutes. It was well into 40 minutes before it was delivered. After it finally got to me up in my third floor condo, Once he gave me the order. I walked back up to my place and as soon as I entered the door, my phone rang, and it was the delivery guy telling me that they delivered the wrong order. I opened it up and then yes it was the wrong order. He asked me to bring it back down and that his boss was behind him delivering it and he totally apologized. Fine stuff happens. What can you do. 20 minutes go by and I call the store was on hold for a while. Finally got through leave the manager picked up the call. I told him that I made an order it was delivered, but it was the wrong one and they took it back and then I’m still waiting for the correct order. The gentleman said that as soon as they get somebody back, they will deliver it as soon as possible. I said wait. They haven’t even left restaurant yet? He went on to say that it was really busy that night and it was crazy. I said OK so how long do we think it’s gonna take? He said he didn’t know that he would call me as soon as they were sending it out. After hearing that, it wasn’t even on its way after well over an hour total time since I made the order, I told him to cancel the order and to refund my money. Then he got angry and yelled to the rest of the people around him say saying this guy wants a refund on a pizza. He already ate and then hung up on me. Which isn’t even close to what I said. Needless to say, I tried calling back, but they wouldn’t pick up. I was on hold for 10 minutes. I continue to stay on hold while I went to go get dinner because I didn’t receive mine from Domino’s. Finally hung up. I’m hoping this is a one time thing, but this manager is a little hothead little punk. Learn how to deal with people people boy. Not that difficult homie. To the gentleman that I talk to on the phone that hung up on me may offer some advice… Next time before pitching a fit like a two-year-old, actually listen to the customer it might save you some...
Read moreI ordered a pizza that was supposed to be delivered by 9:15pm. At 9:46pm I call the store to check on the status of my delivery because the tracker showed that my pizza had been out of the oven for an hour! The gentleman I spoke to was not very helpful...I explained that this has happened before and the pizza didn't arrive for an additional 40 minutes after leaving the store and was cold by the time we got it. The gentleman actually argued with me because he didn't understand how the pizza could have been cold then offered to cancel the order or find out what number I was since the pizza STILL had not been assigned to a driver. I was told that I was 3rd and that the drivers were taking 3 orders at a time so whenever the next driver came back my order would be out for delivery. At 11:01pm the tracker said that Whitney was in the neighborhood, but the call from the gate didn't come through until 5 minutes later. At 11:15pm the tracker said that the pizza was delivered, but it was definitely not! I called back up to the store and talked to another man who was extremely rude and argumentative. He called Whitney, who tried to say that she couldn't get in the gate & she tried to call but only got voicemail, which was untrue. If you couldn't get in the neighborhood, then why was the system showing that you delivered my pizza??? So then I'm told that Whitney is on her way back. When the pizza FINALLY arrives after 11:30pm, OVER 2 HOURS LATE, Whitney grabs the pizza off her seat...not even in the hot bag that the pizza is supposed to be in and it's cold and hard!!!
After reading through other reviews...it would seem that this is a normal way of business and poor customer service for this location. I'm a die hard Domino's customer...it's the only pizza I order for delivery and has been for many years. I'm thinking it's time to take my business somewhere that values their customers and stands behind...
Read moreUpdate: Store manager called and apologized. He was out of town this weekend, assistant manager was in charge and busy this weekend due to soccer event. I ordered food 12/7 (Fri) at 6:25pm. Atlanta United played Saturday. He has a free med pizza linked to my phn# to make up for the 60 points lost also. It was kind of him to call and try to make up for the experience. I just hope in the future, this location will give a courtesy call or heads up if it's going to be an unusually long wait. Not everyone follows sports in general or a specific sport that could cause a store to be over-stretched in their ability to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Hopefully, my future experience will be significantly improved!
Last night, I ordered pizza from this location. My food wasn't even 'In the oven' at the 1 hr mark. I tried calling to cxl - on hold with no person interaction for 8 min. Called nat'l Customer Support. They couldn't reach the store either. I was told my issue was being escalated and to expect a call very soon. I had to leave for work at the 1.5 hr mark. At the 1 hr 36 min mark, I got a notification the driver was on his way - same time I pulled out of the apartment parking spot. Mind you, I live .3 miles away. I was at Arbys & had my dinner at the 1 hr 44 min mark. At the 2 hr 3 min mark, the driver called to say he was at my front door. I had to, obviously, decline the order. I also had not received a callback from nat'l Customer Support.
I called today to see what the wait time is and how to get my 60 points returned from the free pizza part of last night's order. The person answered within a minute, said the wait time is 1-1.5 hrs then advised he'd like to have his manager confirm the points return must come from Corporate. He placed me on hold. That was 25 minutes ago. I still haven't heard from nat'l Customer Support. I'm ordering from Grubhub and never looking back. What a...
