I agree with some other reviewers in that the manager at this location, I believe, is racist or has some sort of bias against black people.
I placed an order thru the mobile app and went to the store for pickup on 8/29. I went to the area to get my order. The manager asked for my name, and I gave him my last name. Seemingly irritated for whatever reason, he then asked for my first name. I gave it. Then he proceeds to “order” me to go get my bottled water that was included in my purchase and then come back to the counter to receive my sandwich and chips I had ordered and paid for. He spoke in such a condescending tone, as if he was talking to a child or someone he felt was less than— I was quite taken aback. I guess he wanted to insure I picked up the bottled water that I paid for and nothing different or more than that. When I went back to the counter, he rudely asked “This is the type of chips you wanted?” I said yes because it was what I ordered and paid for thru the app, so I am not sure why he would ask again…and so disrespectfully and like he was inconvenienced in some way. It was not a pleasant customer experience.
I know this location is in metro-Atlanta with a large/majority black population. But in my opinion, I would not encourage black people to patronize this...
Read moreI would NEVER recommend this location!! I came in after work to grab something quick for dinner. The manager acknowledged me and told me to order at the opposite end of the register. I waited patiently to take my order. The worker on the assembly that was finishing the sandwich looked at me but no one asked what I want. As im still waiting, a white gentleman came up and was immediately addressed and with a smile. I am a African American female with locs for reference. I stop the young lady and told her I have been waiting, she shrugged her shoulders and said ok. Then she said I didn’t see you. She was standing right next to the guy finishing the sandwiches. I asked to speak to the manager she said you can go down there and pointed to the area with the register. I asked can she bring the manager please. She said he is busy, when he is done he will come. Read moreI was at the store getting lunch for an official Lunch & learn event. I ordered it online and placed the order for close to $200. Part of the order was 2 gluten free sandwiches. This is the first time, I am ordering GF sandwich, so wasn't sure that I need to add extra charge for it online (I have placed at least $1300 worth of sandwich orders before from Jersey Mike's, but not this branch). Anyway, when I went to pick it up, they said, they didn't make the GF sandwich since I didn't pay $1.xx. I thought they were joking, then I became serious and said, they could've called me after seeing the note. But, even though they saw the note, it's not their responsibility to call customers (even though I spend $400 to $500 every other month on these sandwiches).
