There has been some sort of change at this Starbucks a couple of months ago that has resulted in LONG waits if you come inside and place your order. From the time I order my drink until the time it is placed for me to pick up is now 10 minutes or more in the middle of the day—it used to be 5-6 minutes at most. Early morning service is still quick and great. Today after ordering, I heard the gal at the check stand said to another gal, I need you to make those drinks.” There were several people waiting in front of me but NONE of their drinks were being made. There seems to be a missing link between who takes the orders inside and who makes the drinks for them. Priority appears to be making drinks for the window—and the drive-thru line gets very long sometimes so that is understandable, but not at the expense of the customers who want to come inside and sit and relax or read or visit with friends. I have been coming to this Starbucks franchise since it first opened in the nearby shopping center. When they moved to this location, parking became an issue, but I always had the same great service hat I had at their previous location until the past few months. In the past, if there was a hold-up on getting my drink at the very least I would get an apology and sometimes I would get a card for a free drink on another visit. Now, it is nothing—just confusion behind the counter and a much too long wait. I hope something changes and that they can figure out a better team format so that inside orders are made immediately instead of 10-15...
Read moreThis is my local Starbucks, a year ago they got 5 stars out of me. Today I am changing it to 2 because over the past few months I've seen a shift in the customer service and quality control. This Starbucks seems to focus most of their attention on mobile orders and drive thru. If you go into the dining room to order, don't expect to get your drinks in order or in a reasonable amount of time. They don't make orders together so one person in your party will get their drink but you'll have to wait until they get a number of drive-thru and mobile orders done in between the drinks they need to make for the rest of your party. My suggestion is have someone on staff who deals with the dining room orders while other staff members work on drive-thru and mobile. I understand they make most their money off the quick orders vs dining in but it is unacceptable to offer a dine-in service if you can't properly serve people. I have never been to any other restaurant where they deliver one meal at a time to a group of diners....
Read moreThis is the level of customer service you get from Starbucks. My drink wasn't made properly, I went to ask to replace it, the assistant manager gave me a suspicious look and asked if I drank any of it. I was upset of that but decided to let it go. She was rude all the way, so I decided to ask another associate for her name. She was furious and asked me why. At the beginning I refused to talk to her, but after she asked several times, I decided to tell her that she humiliated me by asking if I drank from it. The other batista understood, but she didn't accept a complain and asked me to leave. When I complained and asked for other people's names to witness, she called the cops on me. It was another way of humiliation. I was so embarrassed in front of my wife and my kids. It was a horrible experience. After spending a nice day with my family and at the end of the day starbucks...
