Usually excellent custard but 2 out of the last 3 times I had an issue. 1 time i ordered a pint and received the wrong flavor. Ok things happen. on 3/17/23 I ordered a pint and i went home and put it in freezer. went to eat some on 3/19/23 and I tried to take cover off and the lid separated and part of it staying adhered to the custard. I peeled off that piece of the lid and the custard didnt look or smell right and had freezer burn. I checked the packaged date and it was from 2/15. I called corporate and was told that the product should be sold withing 2 weeks of packaging and i needed to speak to that store. So I was sold and given a product that was beyond the experation date and could have made my family sick. Now this isnt just a mistake, this is blatant negligence that could have made someone ill. I dont think I will be going there anymore. ( follow up - called the store 3:53 pm 3/20/23 and asked to speak to owner or manager. I was told by the female I was speaking to that she was the manager and when I asked for her name I was told that she would not give me her name, "I dont do that". She asked for the date and time of the purchase and cash or card. Gave her all the information including all the info on the side of the container as to date packaged, the flavor and the initials of who packaged it. She said she would look into it and call me back and that they just got busy, so she would need to call me back. When I stated that corporate says its only good for 2 weeks and I was sold a product that was over a month old and people could have made people sick, I was told again that they just got busy and she would call me back - WITH LITTLE OR NO TONE OF CONCERN OR CARE IN HER VOICE. So now I am to wait for an unknown manager, who refused to give me her first name to call me back when it is convenient for her. I AM DONE WITH THIS STORE, WONT SPEND A DIME THERE AGAIN. Here are 3 photos. The 1st shows the freezer burn and discoloration, the 2nd shows how the lid came apart when I tried to take it off, the center flat surface separated from the rest and stuck to the custard and the 3rd shows the information on the product and that it was packaged over a month before purchase. This is way beyond a mere slip up, this is neglect that could have made people sick. After speaking to corporate and the owners rep, they really did try to make things right by me. I stopped in 2 times since then and no complaints. So upgraded them to 4 stars. Nice to see a company care about...

This is Now our second time going to Andy's Frozen Custard. The first time was just over a week ago...lol it was SO Good we had to go back! I had never even heard of them and on a Trip into Sanford to the mall we passed it on our way out. It was busy..but the line was moving fast. I had the key lime pie concrete and my fiance had the Snow Monster concrete, both were delicious! The second time he had the same (he liked it that much) I had the mint chocolate chip jackhammer which was Yum!!! At the location You have a walk up window to order or drive through with benches to sit at... similar to a Jeremiah's Italian Ice stand...which is usually our favorite mainly because there is one 5min from our home... But in all honesty I enjoyed Andy's Frozen Custard significantly more😍 and I SO wish there was one over here in Oviedo or close to UCF. I think it would be VERY successful over in this area. From what I know there are only Two Sanford and an Orlando location. Definetly worth the try. I suggest looking at their website to see the menu to help you pick before you go...there are a LOT of options you can choose! Bonus it's made fresh EVERY hour!! Go check it...

Very disappointed tonight. We have gone to Andy’s many times and it’s always been great. However tonight they ran out of Vanilla… I don’t understand how an ice cream place runs out of vanilla but things happen. What really bothered me was the complete lack of customer service. We were waiting in line for over 30 minutes and not one person came out to let us know they were out of vanilla. We get up to the window and the guy said they only have a little vanilla and it would take a little longer if we wanted any. He said they were using quarts they had packaged earlier this week and were melting it to get it out of the package… My favorite thing about Andy’s is it’s made fresh. He said sorry for the inconvenience and we left. I felt worse for the people behind us that were still waiting in line and had no idea. Just felt people should have been told and given a heads up instead of waiting in line forever only to find out they can’t even get what...

This place never disappoints. Frozen custard is a delight and Andy's knows how to make it. I had just a cup of vanilla frozen custard, but there are many flavor options. I prefer the basic to fully experience the custard texture. The service was quick and friendly. The pricing was reasonable. There is a bench seating outside to wait for your order, but not really any seating for eating your selection. This is more of a grab and go place. There is plenty of parking in the large parking area. If you've never tried frozen custard, I highly recommend trying it at least once. It's like ice cream meets creme brûlée.

5 stars for custardy goodness. 2 stars for the intrusion of cars on outdoor seating. This is such a quirky establishment with its 90s vibe front patio area for outdoor seating. I so enjoyed the Choco Espresso Shake (substituted vanilla for chocolate custard). It was so creamy I almost melted alongside it. The only downside is the drive-thru that has cars literally pass a couple feet from you. It doesn't bode well in terms of exhaust, heat, and noise. I found it funny they used bike parking posts as a safety precaution for the pedestrian crossing. But hey, they have bike parking!
