As a regular here (a couple times a month at least), I will say that I highly recommend this place. 95% of the time, the food is outstanding! My family typically gets the egg foo young (pork or chicken), general tso chicken, or boneless spare rib combinations. The food here beats out all the others in the local Lake Mary/Sanford area (I know because we've tried). I'm really particular about egg foo young gravy; their gravy is thick (not runny) and flavorful. Not sure if that's what everyone likes, but I love their gravy.Once in a blue moon (5% of the time), we will get egg rolls that are a little doughy on the inside wrapper.
We are a big fan of the krab rangoon as well. I did try the lo mein one time and was not impressed. It didn't taste as flavorful to me, kind of bland. However, it was my first time trying lo mein, so I have absolutely nothing to compare it to; I may not be a big fan of lo mein in general.
The place is a little run down looking like you expect Chinese takeout to be; however, I have discovered that those are the places that typically have the best tasting Chinese food. Don't discount the appearance! The people who work here are very friendly. Yen and Jimmy (I hope I spelled the names correctly) are the two of the primary people who are at the counter and are very kind.
Prices are outstanding in comparison to others in the area. Dinner combinations are around $8 for dinner size portion of food, rice and a pork fried egg roll. They do have cheaper lunch specials as well.
Typically, it takes about 10-15 min to receive your food. Pretty quick - probably about usual. You can call over the phone and then pick up. If they're absolutely swamped on an evening, it may take closer to 20-25.
Bottom line, this is a hidden treasure near the Walmart off Rhinehart. Quality, tasty Americanized Chinese food at reasonable prices. Cheaper than other places in the area for food that won't taste as good. Give it try!
Final Note: Best tasting general tso in the Lake...
Read moreI’ve been eating at this restaurant for over five years. Today my son found a cockroach in his fried rice.
I called the restaurant to request a refund and they asked me for an order number which was not visible on the heat transfer receipt as it was placed in the bag with the hot food.
I drove back to the restaurant to show them the order receipt and my credit card receipt the guy asked me for the food which is already been discarded.
On the phone they did not tell me to bring the food back so we threw it away. I told him this. He said that he would issue a refund but we can’t order from his restaurant anymore. After finding a cockroach in my rice I guarantee that I was not going to come back to your restaurant.
I understand that some people are scammers and there’s no way of knowing if I am that person. However I have years of retail and restaurant experience this should not of been a conversation that we had to go back-and-forth about.

Read moreSee I used to like this place back when I was in my teens, but now I don’t know what the chefs or whoever is doing the cooking is doing like either clean your pots more or make sure you’re throwing in the right ingredients. I don’t know, but ever since I’ve went back to eat in this place a lot has changed And now the food is just giving me like diarrhea like it taste good but what’s going on with the after effect my other favorite Chinese place was never like this now I feel bad to say, but I think I will never eat here again. Unless they show some different flare, I don’t know but am never eating here again. This is the third time I felt stomach pain from their food and automatically right away too like...
