I decided to go to longhorn steakhouse for my birthday this year and normally,. I have had great experiences there. But for this particular experience I was left unsatisfied. We called ahead before we got there to find out if they had a wait for a table and could we make a reservation because it was Easter holiday. The young lady assured us that there was not a wait period and no reservations were required. So myself. , my fiancee and 3 of our 5 members decided that we were going to come there to eat. Upon arrival, we noticed that there was a short wait time, but we weren't upset with that. When we were seated, they gave us this little small round table right by the restrooms .where pretty much everyone would have been seated elbowing each other.. We requested to have a better table so that we would all have room. The waitresssaid she would talk to the hostess to see if we could move to a table in the back and just add another chair. The hostess decided that we did not deserve a table. ,because after waiting 15 minutes and looking at a table that was clearly a better fit for us, the hostess told us that there wasn't a table available becausethe one in the back had already been reserved even though the young lady said that reservations were not required over the phone which was why when we decided to come there. The table was by the bathroom. And by the bathroom, I mean, you could smell when people came out of the bathroom, which was very concerning since we were there to dine but even more concerning part was that after we were seated and we were told that we couldn't move to a different table. The table that they said was reserved, that was large enough for our party of 7 was seated with only 2 members. I was very upset with that. Why tell someone that you are not requiring reservations? And then when they request a different table. You said that that 1 had already been reserved. I don't know what was going on on this particular day. But needless to say I did not enjoy my birthday at this particular restaurant. And I tried to make the best of it because the parmesan crusted chicken is my favorite dish. But when requesting to be seated somewhere differently, it did not seem like they were really concerned about the fact that it was a holiday and it was my birthday so I. Read moreHostess was very unprofessional and had an attitude problem it was pouring down raining and after waiting 15-20 extra minutes after our estimated wait time she kept rushing us to get our party inside even though it was already packed in the lobby area and our family wanted to wait in the cars while we waited on a table (keep in mind we were already all here and parked directly in front of the restaurant) you would think that the hostess would be more understanding since it was quite literally pouring down raining and a group of 15 just standing around is not comfortable. Now moving onto actually getting seated they tried to put us in two different servers tables and told us if we sat at a table different than someone else we couldn’t split checks before we could ask a question about that she just walked away. When the 2 servers came we were still trying to figure out where we would sit because we had a lot of kids and picking the table we would sit at would not work for us since they said no splitting checks eventually after a while of confusion we asked if the table in the other servers section was available so we could be able to split checks easier and she said yes but that the host told her no after a while the manager just said we could split checks moving onto the quality of our service we waited 45 minutes to an hour to receive our food and when we asked how much longer till our food we were told that they didn’t know because we had a larger party even though more than half of our group got their food 20 minutes before we asked. Fast forward to now we’re still waiting and the food came out 45 minutes later and half of our group had already finished at no point did the manager come to explain to us what was going on or checked on guest satisfaction which honestly shows his poor management skills because that’s a huge part of your job description in hospitality and food service. When the food did arrive one member of our party did not receive their appetizer and many of us were missing items we ordered I’m not even gonna go into detail how the food was cold or how certain tickets had to wrong items on it because at the end of it we were over it and just wanted to pay and leave this was by far the worst experience we’ve faced and longhorns Sanford will never be on our go...

I don’t know if it was the server, Anthony Y or The sarcasm from the manager Jonathan P. That took to a whole new low. This is my first time visiting Longhorn, My childhood friend raved about how Longhorn is one of her favorite restaurants, and I’ve got to try it. She’s been trying to get me to come out and eat with her at the Longhorn for weeks. Only to be met by blatant rudeness misogyny. It was just us too. We were passed over ignored after receiving our drinks, putting in the order for our appetizers and our main course Our server was nowhere to ever be heard from again. From time to time he would walk past serving other guests, looking over out of the corner of his eyes seeing that our table is empty he never brought any of the food to us. He’s always sent another server. WhenBring up the fact that we didn’t receive our food. Frankly, he didn’t want to serve us. But what was very convenient is the table that he was serving right across from us came 30 minutes after us got their food ate and less before us. We saw the manager on the floor ask one of the young ladies to signal him over. And when he came to the table with a snarky, sarcastic tone, he said directly to my face what do you want me to comp the whole meal? Stated then stated you didn’t like the food or was the service bad steak undercooked. And I said no, I came in and I have the money to pay for my food, but I just wanted to bring something to your attention . Thought it was funny that the server did that he proceeded to laugh. And stated like what do you want me to do about it he should be reprimanded and if there’s no one there to hold him accountable for his blatant disrespect and disregard us. He’s gonna continue that behavior because it’s OK and furthermore by you coming over and giving that sarcastic remark.cLeads me to believe that this is not the first time.
