Decided to try this place out because the idea of Amish ice cream was appealing to me. I love McFlurrys, so I decided to try their churned ice cream (which I assumed would be similar), but their churning machine churns so aggressively I think it could be used to drill to the center of the Earth. I ordered brownies and snickers as my mix-ins, and by the time the machine did its thing, my mix-ins were so pulverized you’d never even know they were there. It would be much better if the machine would simply fold the mix-ins in instead of totally mashing them into dust. You can also see in the picture that not only are there no discernible chunks of brownie or candy bar, but also the force of the churning almost totally melted the ice cream.
