Sanford Homebrew Shop — Local services in Sanford

I have been here at least 10 times. I have never had an experience that was less than great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They know a lot more about beer, than wine. Aaron, in particular, is very knowledgeable. They will not steer you wrong. If they aren't sure, they will be upfront and help you figure it out.

They carry a great selection of supplies, ingredients, and hardware for beer, wine, mead, and cheese making. They also always have something on tap for "samples". Prices are very reasonable, and any excuse to go to downtown Sanford on a sunny day, is a good one.

CHEESE CLASS

My experience at the cheese-making class hosted by Sanford Homebrew Shop was nothing short of fantastic. Led by Gary, the class provided a hands-on opportunity to learn the art of cheese crafting.

And of course, the best part was getting to taste the delicious cheese we created at the end of the class. The creamy mozzarella was a testament to our newfound skills.

The Sanford Homebrew Shop has lots of ingredients available, including grains, dry and wet yeast, hops (pellets and whole), sugars, malt extracts, and flavorings. They also have hardware and brewing kits available. They have scales to measure ingredients and even a grinder to crush grains for you.
