Hi, Yes, I was at the Kpop show. I meant to post a review, but I just realized the post was empty. To be fair, the review is for the experience as a whole and not just the place nor just the show. Here is my constructive criticism; (1) The lack of communication. While there was a delay, beyond whoever fault it was, we were never informed and were left to wonder. I do appreciate the staff that offered us unbrellas to hide from the burning sun. (2) The sound/audio was not of the best quality. On many occasions, the performers had issues to the point where one of the microphones stopped working halfway her singing. (3) At the end of the last performance, there was no announcement to what was next. My friend and I were left wondering again if we were to exit or if there was more before the meet and greet. We were not staying for that part, so a simple announcement of the conclusion of the show would have been appreciated. I do believe in second chances and will pay attention to future shows at your location. Best wishes, and I hope you find my review helpful. Lastly, yes, by all means, share my review with the show producers. I love this type of show, but it does have rooms for...
Read moreLast night 6 of my friends and I attended the ELO Tribute concert! This band was so amazing! Everyone in my group loved the shows. We were trying to figure out how the band would make up for the orchestra pieces, but there on the stage were 2 cellists, a fantastic drummer, the 3 guitarists and the keyboards! Myself and another lady started crying! I felt like I was with the original ELO! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY MOVING! Please get this group back next year!! I'd love to see you promote the movie Xanadu Thursday and then the band on Friday!! Also, we didn't realize that this band was approved by ELO to represent their music and all their video/movie clips! This was so unbelievably amazing! I'd love to promote this band! We were disappointed that the theatre didn't have a proper introduction for the band. They just lifted the curtain and started. That was sad. But, this is a show everyone should see! The Ritz is the perfect venue. We love coming to your shows! It's intimate and fun!! Excellent seating and...
Read moreI recently attended the performances of Mamma Mia! and Cendrillon at Dr. Phillips for the Performing Arts with wife and Daughter. The tickets were about $150 each. This reminded us of the two shows we attended at the Ritz Theater in Sanford of Addams Family musical and Cinderella. My wife immediately said after seeing Mamma Mia!: Wow!!! The Adams Family show at the Ritz was much better, it was much funnier, had great stage production and much cheaper. After the performance of Cendrillon she said: “The performance of Cinderella at the Ritz in Sanford was 10 times better, I can never forget how magical the transformation of Cinderella’s dress was at the Ritz performance, it was also funnier and much less expensive” Thank you Ritz Theater at Sanford for having great performances at such affordable prices, we will definitely continue attending your wonderful theater with brilliant produced performances, continue...
