Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Santa Ana

Since moving to the area I always order from this location and every time I’ve had a delivery so far, all drivers have been incredibly polite and I always receive my orders quickly. I have to specifically give a shoutout to Matthew(??? I hope that’s right) who made and delivered our food this most recent time because he was absolutely excellent, best customer service I’ve ever had. Our food was delivered so quickly and upon arrival, Matthew was so kind and endearing. He let us know that he made our food himself back at the shop and hoped that it was made to perfection. Well, Matthew, it was spot on fantastic. We’d been craving pizza all day and you seriously hit the spot for us. Sure, dominos is a chain and all but you killed it, best delivery I’ve had from Dominos so far! Absolutely well done! I also work in a fast-paced, food service job and I know how hard it is to keep your spirits up sometimes because, truth be told, customers are sh*theads. But you kept your customer service on point and were genuinely a lovely human being. I placed an order last night and waited in my living room. Nobody knocks nobody rings the bell but I get a notification that my food has been delivered. I try and call to see where my food is and the first time I called someone answered the phone and hung up on me. The second time I called I had to cut off the person before they hung up on me and explained the situation. She then told me I would have to wait an hour and a half for the driver to come back and I should just cancel order. I told her I could come and pi k it up and she said I would have to wait for the driver to get back to their location which would still take an hour and a half. I told her I would wait because I was hungry and didn't have anything to eat at home. Two hours later I still had no food but I was charged for the pizza. When I called this morning to get a refund I was told the manager would not be in until tomorrow. If you want food and to not waste your money go...

I love this Domino's. My favorite is the large thin crust pepperoni with onions and jalapenos. The only "complaint" I've got (if you can even call it that) is that the last time I went in to pay for my online order, there was a new girl in there and apparently no one had bothered to train her how to accept EBT as a form of payment. She tried to get me to pay cash for my order, which I didn't have, but she lied to me saying the EBT machine didn't work. Thankfully someone a bit more seasoned (no pun intended) was there and corrected the issue. I hope, in the future, they properly train individuals on how to utilize all of their payments processors to avoid such incidents from repeating. Other than that, stellar...
