I ordered three tacos El carbon what I got was three chicken sushi tacos she's never had one don't you'll get food poisoning like I did what it is it's when they take chicken and they don't cook it all the way through and then they barely cut it up and shove it on top of a tortilla and call that a taco the lady behind the counter almost threw up when I picked up the piece of chicken that was my entire taco to my surprise she was very nice about making me three new tacos no problem I even asked for those ones to be well done because of what it just happened and she accommodated very nice woman unfortunately I decided to go back a couple days later and wouldn't you know it I inspect my food and find a piece of raw chicken immediately should I go back in and again and I'm hoping to be met with the same service. But no unfortunately today they've got I'm assuming it was Julio cuz that's the name of my receipt but I'm not sure what the guy's name was well I had shown my tacos to one lady for some reason Julio decides to come over and tell me that the chicken is not raw they check it to 165 before taking every piece off so there's no way it could be raw I'm sure the most of that chicken wasn't but you only need one raw piece to get f*** food poisoning something I don't think he was too worried about since he look like he was withdrawing from meth and heroin at the same time just had junkie written across his forehead anyway since he's decided to argue that there's no possible way that they can make a mistake cuz you know restaurants never do that I decided to take a refund it sucks for me because this place is on my way home and was one of my favorite spots but apparently it's only worth going to late at night on Tuesdays or whenever the hell I was there last time cuz with guys like this in there especially if he's in charge I can't see them lasting much longer.I mean really we're talking about three street tacos how hard is it to just make me a new batch apologize even if I'm wrong apologize so I leave you happy and I'm not on this app talking s about your terrible service hoping that no one else will have to go through it. And normally I don't bring this up cuz I don't like it when people play the race card but why is it that Mexicans think white people don't know how to cook. I got a cashier at El Pollo loco telling a (customer/chef from the hyatt in Huntington Beach) that the chicken isn't raw. Don't get me wrong I believe in defending your employees but not at the expense of the buisness or at the expense of customer satisfaction. You think El Pollo loco's happy that I'm no longer coming for five times a week anymore. Or that I'm going on this app telling people about it. As well as making sure to go out of my way and tell everybody I know about the shity experience I had at this El Pollo loco all that for what six dollars worth of tacos and an apology seems like you're a shrewd businessman I think your potential is being wasted as a cashier. Either way I won't be going here anymore I was going to give him a second shot because the first lady was so nice....
Read moreDined in and ordered a family meal. When they called our number, we took the meal back to the table and realized we didn’t get our drinks. My mom went up to the counter with her receipt to ask for our drinks and the worker said he would give us our drinks when they give us our food. My mom told him we got our food already but the guy just walked away. My mom stood there and waited and told another worker we needed our drinks, and felt ignored again. I finally walked up and asked my mom, what is going on? Why is it so hard to get our drinks from them? I stood there with her and the worker walked up and finally gave her our drinks. Then, when we sat down, we realized they didn’t give us plates or forks or napkins. We had to walk back up to the counter to ask for them. Once we sat, we realized we also got no salsa. Walked back up to counter to ask for salsa and my husband was told that next time when we’re placing our order on the screen (it’s self order there), we need to order it there so we can get charged. The place has been remodeled, but you have to ask for everything. You can no longer get your own napkins or salsa, it was like pulling teeth trying to get our drinks. I don’t think I’ll come back to this location. Maybe you’ll have better luck ordering through the drive thru. But dining inside was horrible. Read moreI purchased the double chicken tostada salad and it was horrible! There was barely any chicken on the salad and the little chicken that was there was burnt and made the salad taste burned as well. The blonde mexican lady(Leslie) at the drive thru window was rude and seemed like she didn't like her job and was bothered that I asked for extra dressing, mind you, that she charged me for...which is fine she charged me but just the attitude was horrible. I tried calling the location to let them know about my food so maybe they could make it right and to inform them i never received my receipt for the food, only received my receipt for my extra dressing(I was only on a 30 minute lunch) and the phone just rang, no one ever pickedup.
