Panera Bread — Restaurant in Santa Ana

Update: a guy came after me and sit at 4 people table comfy chair right next me. I felt bad to use big table for one person. Also I was not comfortable he sat same chat I was sitting and works like a his office.

He brought a cup for starbux looks like from his house and a drink from store. I asked him “don’t you think that’s rude?” He said he come here everyday.

Okay, means store managers allow him to do that. Then everyone else can do the same, right?

A few weeks ago, a manager told to male customer to order something if he is sitting the chair. And made the custmer leave, he also looked at me. Hey I order when I get hungry I drink my tea first.

Hmmm 🤔

Sadly, I’m so afraid to order anything at Panera these days, back then Panera was my favorite place..

Order vegetarian salad, they put meats and I had to stand up and carry the plate to kitchen.

I had to show them the menu didn’t have chicken.

They said “just accident”

Yeah, your accident made me stand up and carry the plate and had to wait for 5 mints to get utensils.. 🤔

Better to get a little apology than explanation.

And the a peace of left over bread from sandwich was the side..

So far bad experience, yeah that’s why I stopped order meals..

————— Sat: ordered a cup for club. 30min after I got my order is ready message. Went to store and no cup. Other names are there.

I asked someone looks like a “general manager “? 🤔

“I ordered but can’t see cup”.. she said

“Hot or cold?!” What? Could you say “ sorry your cup is missing” or nicer way to say which cup?

Now I know if the top of the store talk like this to “customers “ why their employees won’t . 🤔

—————-before … Ordered bagel at the table. Because someone served next table was sounded kind.

However the front lady brought me a cold unsliced bagel. I took it to the kitchen and the lady there said they won’t do it eat as is.

And looks so irritated 😠

Nice Sunday morning I wanted to spend little nice time before work and this is happened

No wonder they get lower starts

Most student/work friendly/unfriendly place. Great because: There are quite a few outlets to plug into A unlimited monthly drink plan for $11 that includes basic sodas, coffee, and tea. Open later than most coffee shops in the area. Cons: Despite the dining room full of empty tables, if you do post up to study or work for a few hours the manager will harass you as a paying customer ( Note: I understand asking people that are not paying customers to leave ) The price of the food has gone up and the quality/quantity has gone down. My bread bowl of soup was dramatically smaller from the last time I ordered the same item (approx. 3 weeks ago). At busy times it can be difficult to get a table that has outlet access. The guy running the place is a stress case and you can feel it if you have to interact with him. I think the other locations have closed, the owners of this establishment are putting the stress of remaining open on him while they increase prices, decrease quality, and have promotions that don't really increase revenue. They are using a strategy with the drink promo that people in the building will buy additional items but their items are overpriced and don't meet the expectations that Panera Bread previously met. I'll likely use the month of my free drinks than...

Today is Thursday August 7th I'm at Panera's Bread and received bad service with both of the managers who are working about 7 p.m. tonight and an attitude from a waitress I usually have a pleasant experience here and I do a lot of business meetings here and refer lot of people here but if they don't take care of their personnel then that will change my family owns plenty of restaurants the beach house one in particular in Laguna Beach and we know how to deal with customers and never argue with a customer just cuz they change their mind and wanted to upsize a salad from a half solid to a whole salad and pop an attitude for no reason it's like really

Ps I wrote the above review last week however I came in again and Joseph who happens to be the manager tonight which is Friday August 11th at 7:30 p.m. and I dealt with him before he's quite a professional courteous and kind and makes you feel at home and makes you feel like you want to come back regardless of past circumstances he's really a people's person I highly recommend him as Management's even District management

Ps September 3rd 7:30 p.m. the service is not consistent and is a little slow and a little lazy not wanting to go the extra mile...
