I shopped around tonight 9/11/24 for an hour and had a cart full of things. It wasnât until after I got to the checkout that an employee informed me that their system was down and they could only accept cash. While this is understandable, when I requested to put my items on hold until tomorrow morning so I could pay with card when their system was back up, I was informed that they do not put items on hold past that night when the store closes. I said that was okay and asked if their system would be up before close and all employees including a manager stated âprobably notâ. It seems that if a card acceptance issue is on Michaelâs end, they would then make an exception to their holds policy since not all customers walk around with hundreds in cash. That or an announcement over the PA or when I entered the store would have been appreciated since when I ask an employee told me the system had been down for hours, so I could have saved time not shopping around knowing I didnât have cash on me when I entered the store. It says they hold it till 11/14 (tomorrow as Iâm writing this) blah blah blah. Today I go to pick it up & I when I click the link it says itâs been picked up. Then I get a text saying it was canceled since I changed my mind. When I called they said it mustâve never been in stock - except they had something up at the front for me to pick up for 3 days didnât they? Wouldnât I have gotten it canceled without ever getting a âyour order is readyâ email? Yes. Yes I wouldâve. Basically they made a mistake, which is no biggie until you donât correct it & make matters worse by acting like Iâm a jerk for wanting my stuff. They didnât apologize, didnât offer me a similar item, literally nothing. Just said it was âprobablyâ never there bc thatâs âusuallyâ the reason it gets canceled.    Read moreI placed an order for pick up at this location because it says online that it closes at 9pm on a Sunday. I haven't received any notification that my order was ready so, I went to the store. I arrived at 7:15pm to the store and it was closed. I saw a women at the register and tried to get her attention. For example knocking on the glass door and waving. She just completely walked away. We waited to see if someone will come back, the same women came back and I ran to knock on the window, she made eye contact with me and just quickly ran away. I was shocked!!! While all of this was going on three more groups of people were trying to get inside the store. So we just finally started heading back to our car and what do we see the exact same women going to the register and just standing there.
