Pressed Juicery — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

Horribly glutened. I have celiac disease, and after eating thier chocolate freeze soft serve yesterday, I’m horribly , painfully sick right now. I will probably be sick for 2-5 weeks. They have signs everywhere saying “gluten-free,” but guess what. That is false advertising. The cones, which are perched right over all the “gluten-free” toppings are not gluten-free. I have confirmed this with them. I didn’t even order toppings and I am so incredibly sick from cross-contamination. This does not speak well to their overall cleanliness, for those without celiac disease. Their soft serve freeze products do taste good, though, for those without celiac disease. Great juices at an amazing price. Yesterday I decided to pick up some juices and just want to commend the young woman who helped me select a variety to try. Her name on the receipt was Jay L. She was so friendly and helpful! Great to experience such kind and thorough customer service, because the first time I came to this location I had a bad experience with a rude, unhelpful person. Jay really took the time to explain the different juices and help me find less sweet, high nutrient varieties to try. She also recommended the plant based ice cream and because of her kindness I will definitely come back to try it. Amazing...

Ordered 3 original bowl, because it had bananas. Paid and added a 20% tip. The server then informed me that they had no bananas. We didn't want anything else on the menu. She said she couldn't refund us and thats we order an alternative. I said no. We wanted our money back. She Then said, we cant refund the tip. Err no. You can.
