I have mixed feelings about this place! The fish and chips were some of the best I have ever had. The outdoor seating area is great and the views are nice upstairs. The service I experienced here was sub par for sure.

I called ahead to see if let's were allowed since we were traveling through with our dog. They said no so we walked over to get takeout. Upon arrival I was told we could sit outside with our dog (not sure why they didn't mention that on the phone). I was told I had to go upstairs to be seated outside. I went up and waited in line only to be told it's first come seating outside on the ground level!! How frustrating.

When we found a seat open up I grabbed the bartender who was walking by and asked if we could order with him. For whatever reason he said we had to go inside to order. I followed him in, ready to order, but it took him a couple minutes to address me. He answered a couple questions about the beer for me and I placed the food and drinks order together.

Food wasn't fast but came in a reasonable amount of time. The fish and chips, as I mentioned, were amazing. Three pieces come in the entree but I ate one before I took the photo haha.

When I went to pay the bar was almost empty but again it took him awhile to address me. I've worked as a server and behind the bar and I just felt the service was really poor all the way around. I wish I could give 5 stars because the food and drinks were great but service does go a long way!!
