I am here now, waiting on my M6 order. I asked if I could add Masago and Avocado, as the menu states that it can be added by special request, and was told that I could not get it on the side unless I was ordering a different menu item. I'm unsure why, but they made a big deal out of it. The young lady on the register with the pig tail buns was very sweet to me and actually located the button to add the avocado and masago, however her coworkers insisted that she could not do it and that they knew better than she did bevause they had worked there longer. In the end, the coworkers of the cashier ended up giving me masago nigiri on the side complementary and said that the menu was confusing because you can only add masago and avocado to certain items, and that the boss wasn't around for approval.

The point here is that I wasn't thrilled at how they were treating the cashier, however they did make it right without me asking. Because of the situation, I did not expect much out of the sushi. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty all of the nigiri were. Perfect portions of fish and rice, which were delicious. I will say that even the masago was fresh, crunchy, and tasty. I've been to very upscale places that served me masago past it's prime, so I was impressed that even the masago was perfect. The wasabi will knock your senses through your face if you eat enough of it. Yum!!!

I will be back and hope the food is still superb and that they come to an agreement on how to add masago and avocado to that order. I hope the young cashier girl got an apology from her coworkers for the unfair treatment for trying to help the customer. I gave a 5 star because this isn't a complaint- the food was excellent and they made it right with me. I'm only stating there is room to make it right with the girl that tried to help me. If she wasn't there and I was just told,"no", I likely would not have ordered anything because at that point I felt that they didnt want to serve me. However, I was likely confusing to them so I will...

Sushi NO GO. Do you care about the ingredients you're eating? Do you have a food allergy or a medical diet? Don't come here. These people do not care about you, what you're eating, or your health at all. I gave these people $25 to get poisoned. I'm on a very strict medical diet. I ordered all of what I thought I could eat and even told them no sauces. I ordered sashimi and a green tea. I specified no sauces. The sashimi comes with a side salad, not identified on the menu - btw. It's slathered in an unknown dressing. Definitely something sugar filled that would put me into a lot of pain if I had swallowed my bite. After spitting the salad out I took a disappointing swig of my green tea. It's not green tea. It's a cup of sugar and fake ginger that is green colored. I ordered a green tea and got a mouthful of ingredients I am not able to consume without incredible amounts of pain. I didnt order hot green sugar water. The only thing that wasn't garbage was the ingredient they had no hand in making - the fish. But in honesty, why bother ordering from people that don't give a s#-t about you? If they're poisoning salads and green tea then they're probably not treating anything in their grasp with care. There are better places to eat from that actually care about you. It's not Sushi...

The place is exactly what the name says with a minor change it should be called “sushi to go”. It is not the best nor the worst sushi I have had. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, or I wouldn’t come back here anytime soon when I could just try something new. I ordered uni, tuna and salmon nigiri. It was thin the tuna and salmon and not that fresh. Uni was good thou, one of the few I’ve enjoyed. I sat down in the chairs outside, I ordered and they brought the food to the table like a to go order and the only service I had was bringing my food at the table and the order at the cashier, which wasn’t a great interaction, neither happy nor welcoming. Atmosphere inside of the restaurant is very small, outside it’s crowded but the view I loved. If you are new to the area, like sushi and want to eat something on the go, this could be the place. But if you can wait, I’m sure you can try out some other place w a better environment and service, food well that could fluctuate. Everyone’s taste and experience are different so I wish you good luck and...

Great spot for oceanfront casual sushi! I was surprised with the quality of the fish here. With how casual a spot it is, I didn’t expect the sushi to be that good! The spicy tuna really hit the spot. That being said, a few complaints: • the menu had no pricing listed. turned out to still be relatively costly, which was unexpected for how casual the ambience is… $10.75 is overpriced for a spicy tuna roll. • the lady at the register yesterday was in a very negative mood. I understand having an off day, but this was almost intentionally disrespectful after we asked for some of the menu pricing. Not appreciated. • the rice proportion was a bit much in both the rolls and nigiri selections… If it wasn’t for the quality of the fish and the nice location, I would have rated this place lower to be honest. Not sure if I’d go back given the plentiful options around town and the unfriendly staff member.

Not sure how this place has such a high rating. Their prices are a bit pricey for okay quality food and you have to sit outside where there's very few tables but its at the harbor so its a nice view. Do NOT order anything with eel. The last 3 times I've ordered food with eel, the skin was left on and there were several bones. I had to pick apart every piece on my sushi roll little by little so I wouldn't crunch on any more bones. I've ate at many sushi places and have ordered eel but never had it served with the skin or bones. This wasn't an issue a year ago when I used to eat here...they must've changed their cooks.
