Came in with a group of 11 for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and sat outside. Asked for waters for the table and the female server brought us 4 waters. We asked for several more waters and she muttered " I'll bring them as long as you drink them "

When it came time to order we asked that the checks be divided 4 ways and she said that's it's written bottom of the menu that no split checks for groups larger than 8. She was right about this. We politely asked if she can make a one time exception and she flat out said no. I asked her if she can make these type of decisions on behalf of the business and she said yes. (Some kids in their 20s act like they own the place they work at)

I asked to talk to a manager and I can see the gears turning in her head as she was trying to think of an excuse. She was starting to say I can't see a manager but that cannabis fried brain of hers kicked into second gear and came up with "there is no manager here today". I should have replied back, "can I speak to an adult who works here at least".

Next she said that we have been rude to her from the moment we walked in. And this is where it gets good. I told her about her comment about her bringing water as long as we drink them and how that was rude and I was offended. She replied back that we can just leave.

We immediately got up and left and this business lost out of a good $300+ revenue. Since I travel for work, I eat out a good about of times a week. I've only left restaurants because they are too busy and can't get service. This is the first time a wait staffer has caused us to leave.

I know this waitress is not a good representation of this business, staff, or management. I feel this review is warranted to let the owner know that they need to re-evaluate her employment or put her through some training courses to correct her skill sets needed to succeed in the...

Picked this restaurant cause the menu on line looked amazing and we were going out for my 19 year olds birthday and we were in town for the night for my other sons lacrosse game. I called a requested a reservation their website said no reservations for under 8 people. I was contacted with Cathy we had 6 ppl and my service dog. She was so kind and sweet made the reservations for the back patio. So I have good and bad but still gets 5 stars. My complaint would be she didn’t tell me there was a band that night. She made our reservations for us to arrive between 630-7 as we were coming from my son’s Lacrosse game. I called at 530 to let them know our games were running behind and I would be there about 15 to 20 mins late. Then Cathy calls me about 615 saying that there were people upset that they were holding the table. Getting that call seemed unnecessary. I told here that I actually was probably going to make it for my original time if anything I’d be 10 to 15 mins late. Well I arrived at 655 so wasn’t late. It was beyond loud people were crowding the table reserved and had their drinks on it so I ended up asking for a table inside. I would have done that had I known when I made the reservation that they had a band that night. Cathy continued to be kind and accommodating. We were moved inside. Food was amazing I got the enchiladas. They were top notch. My beer was yummy. And in all our family really...

Our server, Jay I believe, was really excellent. Super engaging, prompt and kind. He made the evening. The bus boy was also really great. Very polite, quick and kept us hydrated and tidy. Wednesday night is ribs night so I ordered the unlimited ribs which came with side salad and fries. I put down 6 ribs and enjoyed them all. Maybe could have used some more sauce on them though, but the meat was falling off the bone. My wife had the soup of the day (spicy chicken broth or something) and a salad. She said it was just ok. Kids all got pasta dishes which were huge and tasty. They all enjoyed theirs. Beer is brewed there which is cool. Had a hazy IPA which was delish. My wife had the house cabernet which was also great. Building is old and run down both inside and outside and in a weird part of town, but maybe that adds to the vibe. Who knows. Was a fun experience but I might try somewhere...

We only had one night of our holiday in Santa Barbara and I wanted to visit here because of the great range of beers brewed on-site. The beers were indeed great but just as good was the food. We ordered 2 filet mignon, a blackened pork chop and the pork tacos. We all thought the food was delicious and my wife says the steak she had was the best meal she had in the whole 14 nights we spent in California!! We had the Housh Helles lager and Belgian Lace honey blonde to drink but the good thing is you can have 4oz tasters so we had few of those as well. We would have spent longer here but it was closing time by the time we finished our meal. Would love to visit again.

Service was great. Because they were low on staff, the waiter continued to reassure food was coming, and seemed apologetic. Now the problem was the food was okay. On a monday night, they seem to have limited options. I got the loaded tater tots, and it tasted nothing special. Just bacon bits, toppings, with sour cream on what tasted like previously frozen tater tots. The restaurant was dog friendly and they had more outside room in the back to sit. Menu for dogs were limited compared to what is posted here. I think it would be okay for drinking beer and watching a game but food was so limited and tasted average, so not sure i would recommend eating dinner here

This is one of those places that simply has no right to be as good as it is. From the fillet mignon bites appetizer to the grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich, you just can't go wrong. And the beer is great, too! (And I'm usually a cider drinker.) They always have a wide range of their own creations on tap, and usually a few guest taps, though last night they had their own tap takeover. I had The Wild(Mad?) Monk. The bartender told me it was a Belgian quad they let go too far. It was smooth, sweet and kind of light, but also 10% alcohol. I think it's also a bit off the tourist map (at least it used to be), so it's good for getting local flavor. Treat yourself and go.
