I was very disappointed with my experience. I came to the restaurant 30 minutes prior before working and thought I would at least get 15 minutes to eat. I ordered through the kiosk because there was no one at the reg that could take my order. About 8 or 10 minutes passed by and was notified by phone that my order was ready. Clearly on the counter, my order was not ready. I would also like to address that the restaurant was clear of customers but me. Instead of asking where my order was, I patiently waited because I am patient (thinking my food was still getting ready). I was also obviously standing near the counter waiting. So why didn’t the 2 employees at the reg and counter didn’t do a hospitality check? Instead, I had to hear them chat. Finally, I had come up to the counter to ask how my order was doing because another customer was also waiting and wanted check because apparently his order wasn’t being made (but that was somewhat due to a system error). Mine was clearly seen because their was a receipt printed at their end. At least the restaurant right next door have an excellent hospitality team. Willing to check on customers even on a busy day or slow day. Long story short, got my food 3 minutes before I had work. I recommend getting your employees who make the first impression go through hospitality training because I wouldn’t be wasting my time making this essay if my food was made on time at the...
Read moreThe Habit is an underrated establishment. I mean it has to be clearly within the top ten, or even top five burger joints. I find that most restaurants that offer burgers all taste the same. The burgers in The Habit’s menu offer something a little different. There’s a taste that’s distinctly its own. I can’t quite place it, but it surely has to do with their patties, to begin with. The grilling plays another role, and that may be what sets it apart from the other fast food joints. One thing I really like is that you ate able to customize everything in your order direct from their kiosk, or app. Most burger places have limited options when it comes to customizing your food. Then you get a nice array of fountain drinks and a few non-soda options. The sweet potato fries are always a good option just to break from traditional fast food fries. I’ve tried all their sandwiches and there’s really no going wrong with taste. It’s just going to be about mood and preference for the day when you make a choice. The free pickled peppers give a delightful palate cleanse for every juicy mouthful you get. Service is fast, movement in the kitchen is efficient, and the associates are always pleasant and professional. Some friends have mentioned that The Habit is a little more expensive than other places, but then again, you get value for...
Read moreIt was my kids first visit here, and my hype of the place was a total lie. The weekend vibe when I brought my kids is totally different from the work week lunchtime rush.
pet peeve - they have the 'order and pay without employee interaction' kiosks. I've only used that type of service ONCE. Why? Cos my card info was stolen immediately after and fubar'ed my vacay. Not to mention that I don't get an employee discount for working the register by myself.
Since the self-order/pay kiosks are there, the employees pay no attention to you until you've been standing there for several minutes. Once someone did step up to take the order, the communication was a bit short. By short, I mean that I felt the employee presumed we knew the menu as well as they did, and had no question about the food.
Anyway, the burgers are good but really greasy. The fries were super blah, which was super...
