Crumbl — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

One can't participate in the great Santa Clarita Valley Cookie Wars without sampling everything...so naturally we went down to Crumbl to do our part. 9pm on a Saturday and the line was reasonable...About 5 parties in front of us and they were doing a good job keeping people spaced from each other, only allowing 1 party in at a time...so a win for health and social distancing.

Pro-tip...download the app and order in advance...you won't have to wait in the line at all and they'll come out and call your name when your order is ready.

As for the cookies, it's hard to compare them to a more traditional cookie as they are large, some have toppings and it's really a different experience...so for the fanatics of other places, these really deserve to be appreciated on their own terms. They're soft, but not exactly cakes as some other reviews have suggested. They are the priciest cookies anywhere, but they are also the largest. You're getting a lot of cookie for what you pay so if your concern is that it costs more than another cookie shop's cookie, compare the actual amount of cookie you're getting and it's probably more equal.

We had 4 cookies...the basic chocolate chip. I prefer a semi-sweet chip in my chocolate chip cookie so this was okay.

The Key Lime Pie Cookie was out of control good.

We also had a sugar cookie which came with a pink frosting on it. This was the sweetest of the bunch and quite indulgent.

Our 4 pack was rounded out by the peanut butter cookie topped with chocolate frosting which was probably our second favorite in the bunch.

Cumbl Is a nice combination of an "experience"...I mean the community standing in line, all waiting for their cookies, and a unique "cookie" experience. If I had to live and die on one cookie choice, I'd probably choose a more traditional cookie, but there ain't nothing wrong with what you get here. (Plus it's open til midnight on Saturdays...seriously, all places should be open...

I have had a great cookie every now and then. I noticed a couple of times when driving by that there was a long line outside the door. I thought it was a grand opening only to find out that the customer in line in front of me stated that they had already been open. She spoke of how her son was ao upset after they had been waiting in line a few days ago and Crumbl Cookies had run out of cookies. I commented that these must be some delicious tasting cookies. After waiting in line and the next one to be waited on, the cashier looks at me and says, that couldn’t take anymore orders for 15 minutes because they were so backed up. I had already been waiting in line for at least 20 minutes. I looked at the employee like, “are you for real”? She looked at me an apologetically said, “I am sorry.” I decided I had already been waiting, and it smelled so good in there , I decided to wait. It was more than worth the wait. I ordered 6 cookies, 3, which were chocolate chip. Let me say, they were the best my husband and I have ever tasted. I ordered 1 classic sugar cookie with pink frosting. My daughter chose that one. I don’t even like sugar cookies, but I decided to give it a taste too and to my surprise, it was also quite delicious. As an employee at Comfort Dental Center, I recently stumbled upon Cookie Crumble in Valencia, and my taste buds have been dancing ever since!
