El Fuego Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

Went on 6/20 around 1:30p along with 4 other people. Only one other family in the establishment sitting and a total of 5 workers. We all ordered very standard items, chicken quesadillas, 2 burritos, and me personally ordering a simple bean and cheese burrito. At first it was nice, getting free drinks was exciting as a first time customer. But we waited an entire 45 minutes for everyone to get their food. No apologies either, as someone who has worked in food service my whole life, that was extremely upsetting.

I find it extremely unprofessional with the restaurants lack of accountability in these comments on bad reviews, “we just tracked your order it only took 20 minutes” It shouldn’t even take 20 mins in the first place??? I also saw “we served over 100 people that day”, instead of invalidating paying customers complaints, apologize and take accountability. Excuses used towards paying customers is a one way ticket to not bringing them back and make it right.

Will not be returning, reading these reviews made it worse. Also I immediately went home and had diarrhea from my BEAN AND CHEESE burrito that took 45 mins to get, save yourself a bathroom trip and...

Let’s start with how amazing the food was. It was delicious. It was served fresh and warm. I went there for their grand opening and yes we waited for 1 hour but for a $1 taco special you should expect that, there was several hundreds of people. The employee had told us prior to purchase we were going to wait for a hour. The employees are super nice and very helpful. There was few customers who were rude to the employees all because they had to wait for there food, even though they were told they were going to have wait prior to purchase. Be adults and be respectful this is a new business. We need to support all new small business in our community. They make all their sauces in house. I tried the El Fuego Spicy and Serrano Pesto and I was amazed to how authentic and spicy it tasted. Besides the tacos I tried the El Fuego Burrito and not only it was good but it was a very good size and good reasonable price. I loved how well organized the grand opening was, not only they served $1 taco but they were passing out free energy drinks, had music, a balloon entertainment for the kids, and a sketch artist. As a new customer I am definitely hooked on this place. I tried their Asada and Chicken quesadilla with fries on the side and it tasted so good. The meat was so tender and juicy the cheese was perfect the sauces and everything was so good! The service is also great here the people are very friendly! This restaurant definitely reminds me of back home with all the beautiful Hispanic artwork! Love the welcoming atmosphere here at El Fuego!
