New years eve at 3pm After paying $52. for 2 sandwiches, 2 soups and a few pastries. I stood at the counter waiting for my order for 30 min. The people after me got there food, I was still waiting. Two more women came in, ordered and recieved there food. Still waiting. The employees randomly passed me asking if I was helped. I answered each time, Yes Ive been helped but Im still waiting on my order. No one ever said you wait over there, when its up they'll call your name. The store was almost empty, 3vthere were 3 or 4 pair of people at the tables eating. Finally I asked if I could use the restroom. I was away from the desk for 1 or 2 min to wash my hands. When I returned another employee asked what I was waiting for and I said My food. He asked my name and went into the back. When he returned and asked my name again and asked what I ordered. The girl that took the order was cleaning the baked case said I took her order, it probably got tossed. Mind you she was there the whole time. After I paid her she started cleaning the displays behind the register and never left. She said to the guy i think it got tossed or lost. The guy left and came back and said to me, could you go over there so when they call you, you can get your order. I asked "why it was taking so long?" at least 25 minutes had passed and I was getting frustrated. The employee then said aparently someone else took your order. So we will make it now. I said but no one came in. He said they called your name and a girl took it. He was more concerned about making up an excuse rather than admiting the truth. If he will lie about a mistake what else does he lie about? Now my car has one of those motion activated cameras and I was parked in front of the entrance. The lot was almost empty so there is no way someone got in and out without my cars camera catching it. Both doors were less than 5 feet from my car and No one entered or exited. Instead of admitting that since it was shift change my order was tossed, just like the girl I paid sugested. I told the man I didnt believe him because no one came in or out. I was going to review my footage and if he was lying like I knew he was, I would truthfully write this review. Also a couple exited shortly after me that were sitting next to what I know now to be the pick up window, they came over to my car and said "no one came in and they never called anyones name". I had just reviewed the footage from the doors so I already knew that but I was glad everyone else saw what happened and knew they were making up an excuse instead of admitting there mistake and being honest I will never go to any panera again expecially the Santa...

Just had the worst experience I have ever had in the food service business! Came in to buy two sourdough bread bowls and soup to go. The bread bowls were served with small cups of soup. We inquired about why a “BREAD BOWL” was being sold with a cup of soup and received the most disgusting, disrespectful and unconscionable response from the “manager” Jessica! Her attitude was sooo disgusting that 2 of her employees stepped in to deliver a heartfelt apology when she walked away. THIS PERSON SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!! I wouldn’t let a person with her abhorrent disdain for humans clean the toilets in my restaraunt! She not only disrespected us from the moment we starting talking to her… she bravely barked at us that “it was just too confusing for us to understand” and then laughed in our face twice! We were very respectful and simply asked to pay the cost difference between a cup and a bowl… she raised hell at this request and then got even more angry when SHE couldn’t figure out how to operate the register! She was sooo rude and disrespectful that I called corporate to file a formal complaint. She was sooo rude that my girlfriend had to walk away from the register IN TEARS! 25 minutes later when we got back to the house her chest is still covered in hives she was so upset by the interaction! I have NEVER seen this happen before… that’s how upset she was by the interaction with this horrible employee!
Panera…. If you hire people that will treat your loyal customers this way you don’t deserve to have loyal customers! Fire this woman and save yourselves the embarrassment. Her entire team of good employees will suffer under this woman! I WILL NEVER visit another Panera again until I hear that this woman has...
Read moreI used to go to Panera on Baywood Ln everyday for my lunch break. It was always delicious. I stopped going for a couple months because they kept messing up my order. I figured it was because of new management because the food seemed prepared very sloppily and they did not take the time or care to notice modifications such as no tomatoes, etc. My co-worker noticed her food had declined in taste in quality as well, so we're assuming it's under new management. She ordered the BBQ flatbread a few times and each time it had literally one piece of chicken and what seemed like a million leaves of spinach and even was missing some of the toppings. They always give me a free meal when my order gets screwed up, however, this meal I had today was my 3rd free meal in a row because they messed up so many times.
Today, I found a long, brown hair mixed in with the contents of my Mediterranean veggie sandwich. When I told the manager about it she very confidently responded with, "Oh that must be from our romaine lettuce." ...Not sure why she knows there is possibly hair in the romaine lettuce and is not doing anything to prevent it from happening. Oh, and, of course, they put tomatoes on my sandwich when I asked for no tomatoes.
So, I won another free meal, however, I am unsure if I ever want to eat there again. Sorry for the rant, I'm just very disappointed because I know the quality of Panera is MUCH better than this (which is why I'm writing it off to new/bad management/employees). Hopefully the fourth try is a charm, or I'll just stick to a different...
