Further agreement that the staff here is always friendly and without the fake attitude like that big chain.,,, and love that a large drink is called a large. I always get drinks with almond milk, a huge plus for me and the "low sugar" option on the mix. Taste is still very good despite the great despite the reduced calories.

The ambiance is casual but is always clean and nice and light inside and almost always a few open tables. I don't understand the one comment about the interior from another here. Outdoor seating area is also a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the usually great Southern California weather.

My only wishes are also for later hours as others have mentioned, especially on Friday/Saturday. It would be nice to stop by after a movie or late shopping.

And it would be perfect if there was another location in Newhall so I could stop by on the way to work in the SF Valley. This one is a bit far the other direction to make morning stops during...

Don't get me wrong I love Peet's coffee! I used to live close to the Seal Beach location and they were fantastic! This one in Santa Clarita made me sad. The young man who was making the coffee would yell out your name with his hand to his mouth then turn around to give you your coffee after he has touched the top of it. I know COVID isn't as bad as when it started but it's still around. This guy needs to learn what cross contamination is, and on that note the other older much heavier man wipes the sweat from his head then uses his hands to get the pastries, I've watched both of these things happen over and over again. Gross!!! I was the third person in line and waited 35 minutes to get my coffee. The staff were slow moving and talking to each other. I won't be going back to this location. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Peet's Coffee & Tea. Mind you this is my first visit here from out of town while I had plans to go do other things. After placing an order for just two coffees, we waited for 20 minutes while watching at least six people who ordered after us get their drinks. Finally, my boyfriend went up to ask about our order, only to find out that they never even started making it. No apology, no effort to fix it--just a refund and a dismissive attitude. Needless to say, we left and will not be returning. If you value your time and customer service, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
