Starbucks — Restaurant in Santa Cruz

This Starbucks is truly one of the better ones. There is great customer service. As my drink was handed to me, the server asked me to make sure my drink was made correctly, and she did not move untill I told her it was made correctly. I didn't feel rushed at all.

The second drink I ordered came covered in matcha green tea. I am not one to complain about service directly, so I had to clean all of the sides of the cup.

The bathroom is really amazing. It has an efficient/futuristic handwashing station that dispenses soap, water, and air dries all in one location.

However, I don't think I will be coming back to this Starbucks. I am a college student and the primary reason I would come here is to study and enjoy their drinks. There are NOT ENOUGH OUTLETS. I only saw 4 plugs in the entire seating area that seats about 25-30 people. If this establishment wants college students, I would suggest investing in a couple...

I came by with my fiancee for his birthday, the lady with the pigtails and greying brown hair was very rude. When we told her it was his birthday, she said "happy birthday or whatever", and proceeded to get increasingly annoyed that the Starbucks app, which showed it was his birthday, wasn't working properly to give the bday free drink. When my fiancee tried to order cold foam, she interrupted to ask to see his ID to prove his birthday, and didn't end up writing down the cold foam for his order. So not only did we not get what we ordered, but she also was incredibly rude to him on his birthday. I don't normally write reviews but this was unprofessional enough for me to say something about it. I rarely stop by this Starbucks, I had a break in the area. July 3 around 8am. I Ordered my regular oatmeal. Customer service I recieved this morning was awful. The man who was working at the time was unfriendly. I mobile ordered my food ahead. He never called out my name, but all other orders were. The oatmeal was prepared horribly. I politely asked for additional hot water, again the man was annoyed and added more water. The oatmeal was very lumpy and dry. I couldnt enjoy it. I will not return to this location.

The location is great for a busy street. The restaraunt is clean and has plenty of seating. There is parking behind Starbucks. Hopefully they will hire people who want to work instead of making the paying customer...
