I grew up on a coffee farm in Colombia, so I know coffee well and love it. Verve has an amazing product, and most of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. However, this morning's experience did not reflect what I am accustomed to with Verve. I ordered a pour-over of a delicious blend and requested it to be served in a porcelain cup, as I believe that paper cups alter the taste. When my name was called, they had poured it into a paper cup instead. When I explained to the young lady that I had ordered and paid for an in-place order and that, in my opinion, paper cups change and ruin the taste of the coffee, instead of just remaking my cup, it turned into a big ordeal. I hope they retrain the entire morning crew that was working there...

I enjoy this low profile Verve hidden in the Seabright neighborhood. They have some cool, spread out seating positioned on the perimeter of the parking lot. As usual with Verve, they feature a variety of excelent coffee drinks and a few light food items. This facility is actually their roaster and it features some nice architecture and industrial design; it is minimalistic and restrained compared to say their downtown facility - and appropriately so for this neighborhood / light industrial area location.
