The staff is here is incredibly kind and easy to chat with. James and the boy with the split dyed hair (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!) obviously work hard to improve the place. I got a salad and sandwich as well as a mocha. The food was very healthy but was a bit bland and felt incomplete. It could definitely be enhanced a bit to be more restaurant-worthy. Shoutout James for working towards that! The vibe of the overall store was clean, calm, and peaceful; However, it lacked humanity and personality. The lady who runs the place seems very unkind to her employees and unapproachable which made me not want to support the business very much. She was performatively kind to me right after chewing out all of her workers for chatting with each other or exercising their natural personalities and expressions, which was my favorite part of the experience before she killed their spirit. I really want to emphasize that I appreciate the employees at the cafe trying to provide a good customer...
Read moreLori and Rubina were very welcoming. They prepared a lovely meal and were kind enough to offer to let me taste different sauces, beforehand, for the entrees I was interested in. While they prepared the meal, I browsed the store's high quality and unique clothing items and pottery items. I found a gorgeous 100% merino wool sweater and a lovely ceramic mug. There are no synthetic fragrances in the store, by the way, only natural scents, a welcome relief from the assault of chemical perfumes in stores today. There is an open feeling to the store. One gets the sense of a truly well-designed space. There is a spa in back, too, where one can get a massage. And one can take yoga classes in the studio next to it. All in all, a 5-star experience for the amazing organic cuisine, the unique clothing and pottery items, and the truly relaxing and loving...
Read moreWent today to try the cafe. No signage on where to go when you walk in the door for the cafe makes it difficult to find. My food came with a side of greens, I'm assuming a salad, but with 0 dressing of any sort, I would not consider a dry bed of arugula a salad. Sandwich fell apart when eating and was lacking flavor. In a restaraunt that only serves plant based food, somehow the plants feel forgotten in the menu. Service was very very great, and they were very kind. However the food was very lacking. I also had an oatmeal cookie that tasted like it was handled on an uncleaned savory surface. There was some sort of garlic or onion type aftertaste. Would love to see a place like...
