I really really wanted to like this place the environment is absolutely beautiful the staff is amazing but the food is just mediocre it just isn't all that great not enough flavor and the chicken is weird I don't know if they only use chicken thighs or what but the chicken is just so strange and it has a very weird flavor to it very greasy and mushy maybe it's just the day that I went also it was just lunch for me and my daughter and I spent close to $70 it was extremely expensive for what we got and it was just not very good we get better food at Panda Express. Our wait staff was amazing and that's mainly the reason I gave it three stars I wish I could give it five stars because the atmosphere was great but they also don't let you sit at whatever table you want they demand that you sit on the sides of the restaurant in the booths which was okay I guess but we wanted to sit at a table. The only thing that didn't have a strange flavor to it was the dumplings and potstickers those were the only two things that were really good the fried rice was absolutely awful it was brown and weird and had too much soy sauce in it and no vegetables normally when I order fried rice there's carrots peas bamboo shoots or even tofu in the fried rice definitely...
Read moreFun Noodle Bar Saturday, May 11 12:15 pm Fun Noodle Bar is an Asian restaurant with excellent service. We arrived at their large dining room on a quiet Saturday and were quickly shown to a booth, our order taken and rapidly served. Our server was welcoming and responsive to our questions. My husband ordered the Beef Noodle Soup with Spicy Broth. It came in a large wooden bowl filled with ample slices of beef, spinach, broccoli, daikon, cilantro, scallions and chili oil in hot beef broth. Delicious. My order was Dim Sum, 6 pork and cabbage potstickers with soft potsticker wrappings and flavorful Dim Sum sauce, not too spicy. We had never seen anything like the unique glass bottle of the Ramune melon Japanese soft drink. A glass marble sat at the top of the bottle. When you punch the plastic top in, the marble drops into a chamber above the carbonated soda. Fascinating. This sweet drink balanced the spiciness of the soup. There is a window into the kitchen covering the back wall of the restaurant. There you can see the kitchen staff make and stretch the Dim Sum and the Dumpling dough. Fun to watch. There is no background music so the ambient sound is low (68 dB) and conversation is easy. The menu is extensive. Prices are moderate. We will...
