Ooo LaLa chocolate pinõn coffee ⭐️💯 Update I keep coming back for the pinion coffee from a local roaster. I wanted to really like this place but my food experiences were not that great.

The first time I had a green chili croissant to go, it was partially raw on the inside. I tried it a few weeks later, the inside was very raw and I returned it. A third time I tried the breakfast burrito — a tortilla stuffed with a lot of unpeeled potatoes, unmelted cheese and a little egg. Neither healthy nor flavorful.

Great the elderly locals are satisfied with it. In my extended visit to the area I notice ratings are 1-2 stars above what they would be in other regions. It’s a beautiful place and people are happy to be here.

Also, the hand soap in the bathroom is major toxic loaded with heavy toxic chemical smell that stays on the hands for hours and hard to wash off.

The family owners are friendly...

If you remember the old Santa Fe Baking Company, well it's the same location but the coffee is SO MUCH BETTER - it's not the rock gut over brewed "cowboy" coffee that was the horrific trademark of the former establishment. It's now a down home comfortable locals place. My opinion is that the cleanliness was and still is above and beyond the expectation during these Covid days. The food is simple yet diverse for various palates, and just the right amount - no waste but perhaps a little snack for later. And freah pastries too! My favorite for breakfast is the BLT Egg Sandwich and a cherry/cheese Danish with the Chocolate Piñon coffee black... mmm... getting hungry just thinking about it and gonna have to get there in...

These people are thieves of the highest order. I used my debit card back in June for two purchases and recurring charges kept appearing on my statement under 'Wright and Hall Corpo' for identical amounts of $5.00 which appeared every couple of months. I recently had two more charges on my statement of 5.00 for a total of 10.00 dollars and had not even been in the place for months. They are stealing money by recharging your card and they do it in such a way that one may not question it based on lack of frequency. If you use your card in this crooked establishment you better pay close attention to how they are stealing. from you. I called my bank to dispute these charges. and change my card number. I advise you...

The New Baking Company is everything I hoped it would be. The food is top notch, service is fun and friendly and the facility is clean and comfortable. I was a regular at its predecessor, The Santa Fe Baking Company and was sad to hear of its demise. Many original elements are here, including people, original art, menu items and general layout. Gone are the rickety furniture (replaced with sturdy), bare concrete floor (now tiled) and the feeling of being packed in like sadines. The crowd seems unchanged: high school students, geriatrics, politicians, anarchists, tourists, locals. Good food, friendly people and a great atmosphere are important and people find them all here.

This place has everything!! Outdoor seating! Breakfast! Mexican food! Bakery! Fresh fruit! Cappuccino! Non-milk options! Visiting from TX and we stumbled upon The New Baking Co (only place open before 8 am on Google map) for breakfast on the way to the airport. Their coffee is great, they have your typical kids menu and the Pueblo pie was SO GOOD. I have been missing out all my life! It's a flaky pie-like pastry filled with apples, peaches, pecans, walnuts, and raisins (don't worry, there are very few raisins!) dusted with sugar and probably has some cinnamon. It was GREAT with coffee! Nearly gone before the cappuccino was done being made 🙂
