We came by for breakfast for a class we were taking and went with a pickup order. They have a cute little side window just for pickups, which made it very quick and convenient. I didn't get a chance to see what it looked like inside, though. From the people coming out though, it seemed very busy!

I ordered the orange juice, a ham and gruyere tart, and a cinnamon melt bun for later. Everything was absolutely delicious. The tart was the winner, perfectly buttery, flaky pastry wrapped around such a good combo, ham and cheese. It was rich without being too heavy. I ate the bun at night and even then it was wonderful, also perfectly done buttery pastry. Truly every bite was so good.

Pickup was easy and the staff was very friendly. The parking lot is a bit tight, so something to keep in mind if you are visiting. If we lived here, this place would be dangerous for me, I'd be there all the time! Would love to try their...

A local favorite, as you'll see by the lines that form early in the day. Sage Bakehouse uses only the best flour and it shows up in their quality! Better than that, though, is the quality of service. Everyone really seems to care about their product and front-of-house experience.

Cappuccino was on the bitter side but fresh and bold. The chai latte is spicy and complex. And the cookies are the right balance between crispy and chewy.

The limited tables are distributed on an in-line basis. In other words, don't try to claim one before you've ordered. You'll be asked to allow someone who was there before you to have an opportunity first. They do kindly enforce this rule!

There is self-serve water outside on the patio if you forget to order your own.

Not much room for dogs.

Bathrooms are gendered single rooms.

Walking distance to the railyards! Order ahead is available with pickup at the side...

Was recently in Santa Fe for a two day visit and ended up coming here for breakfast both days. They have so many delicious options to choose from. The tartine, panini, and hot chocolate were delicious. The chocolate croissant was heavenly. Buttery, so flaky, and the perfect amount of chocolate to get some in each bite. Wish I would’ve grabbed more to take home with me. We did choose four different loaves of bread to bring home and the Pane Paisano was a particular favorite of mine.

Additionally, the customer service was fantastic. All the employees we interacted with were extremely friendly. They remembered us the second day and greeted us like old friends. They called regular customers by name and took their time to serve each person in line, making conversation and attending to each one of us.

I WISH I had a gorgeous little bakery like this...

I used to frequent Sage Bakehouse back in the day (nearly 10 years ago) when I lived in NM. This past week, my husband and I were visiting New Mexico to celebrate our anniversary, but also as a sort of memorial for someone who recently passed away who happened to love Sage Bakehouse. The other day I walked back through the doors and was immediately greeted by the smell of fresh bread and smiling faces. After almost a decade away, it was everything I'd hoped it would be. I was able to sit and enjoy a chai latte each morning of our stay, and experience some nostalgia to honor the person I lost. I even showed my husband Sage Bakehouse and he was happy to purchase some croissants which he said looked perfect. Some things have changed about Santa Fe and even Sage Bakehouse since I moved away, but one thing never changed- the love is still there!
