What impresses me most about Sukhmani Store is that it goes far beyond offering fine art objects: it's a true experience of mental and creative expansion. I feel that those behind this project are not just sharing exceptional pieces, but also a mastery of how to use art to transform the home into a space for elevated and meaningful living. Each item is a work of art in itself, but what truly moves me is the way everything is arranged. Walking into the store feels like entering an ever-changing living gallery: every corner is thoughtfully designed to be admired and to evoke a deep response in the observer.
Everything in the space is so sensitively chosen and harmoniously placed that it becomes an experience in itself for everyone who enters. I really love how they manage to gather pieces that exist at the intersection of fine art and meaningful art, merging beauty, depth, and warmth with exquisite taste.
In every one of my visits, I have always felt deeply inspired. In my role as art director for our high-end real estate design firm, I have always found something unique and meaningful to admire and learn. And my wife and I have always discovered something deeply special to bring into our own home.
Last but not least, I especially appreciate the team at Sukhmani for their kindness, warmth, technical knowledge, and artistic sensitivity. Visiting Sukhmani Store is a profoundly human experience of exceptional artistic value and deep spiritual resonance.
I wholeheartedly recommend it. Agya Akal Singh...
Read moreWandered into the shop on a late Saturday afternoon because I knew my friend would love the items. I had been there once before when they were newly opened. I loved it then but I love it even more now!!! Aside from the main space, there are now two additional spaces - one is a room called the “jewel box” and it’s full of wonderful jewelry (of course I bought some!!) and then up a small ancient staircase is small cosy space full of textiles (yes I bought some of those too!!) and sale items (didn’t get a chance to even look at them!!). But aside from the wonderful space and aura of the shop the owner is such a lovely young man named Sat Gurumukh (yes I practiced his name because he explained to us what it means and why it’s important to say all of it ( I asked - can I call you Sat?). Anyway - we had a wonderful time perusing the shop and both my friend and I came away with a treasure AND a lovely visit with a wonderful human!! Great end to our Saturday afternoon! Must go if you are visiting Santa Fe or if you live here (as I do). So often those of us who live in Santa Fe forget to go to some of the wonderful shops we have right at our doorstep! I will definitely return...
Read moreI have been a client of Sukhmani for just a year and a half but they are one of the greatest gifts ever. Not only in their unique vintage to contemporary product which has awesome styles, cultures and vibes in home and jewelry but I consider Sat Gurumukh family. He, Hallie and Cynthia are beautiful humans with incredible taste and talent. They and the store are unlike anything I have experienced in Santa Fe or beyond. They provide the highest level of service imaginable with a very relaxed ambiance which always involves tea, lemonade and cookies (and more from Mata G). My first purchase was a pair of gorgeous leather chairs and my home has since transformed to 75% of their furnishings as they are always receiving new elevated collections that are stunning. I regularly find something in the Jewel Box from the exceptional artisanal selection of jewelry. And don’t forget the amazing scented candles. So thankful for this divine appointment. Don’t miss this treasure...
