I never leave negative reviews, but am making an exception here. We went to this place having read the mostly favourable reviews and REALLY wanting to like it. The positives: It's located inside a very relaxed, dog-friendly, and kind of cool food hall. The negatives: We came at 7 PM. We waited for our two dishes (vegan pad thai and green curry) for a full hour. We kept being told that it would just take "another 10 minutes". At one point, I was asked to repeat my order. Meanwhile, a woman who ordered food 30 minutes after us got her food before we did. The green curry: The paste was extremely delicious and had layers of sophisticated flavour. The vegetables, however, were undercooked (compared to Thai standards, not some arbitrary standard of mine), I assume because they were rushing to get the dish done. The pad thai was decent, but, honestly, not worth the steep price. The vegan pad thai was cooked on the same griddle as some chicken, and it tasted like chicken in places. The presentation of all the dishes that they make, however, is visually very pleasing. When I returned the plates, the owner asked me for feedback. I said that, unfortunately, the vegetables were barely cooked and my vegan pad thai tasted like chicken. Her response was to simply say that this wasn't true. To sum up, this is an overpriced place. It is slow and extremely disorganized. The food is not bad, but it is evidently not consistently good. The stand calls itself vegan-friendly, but uses the same griddle for all the dishes and does not clean it between dishes (I watched my food being cooked). I would never...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of trying Chef Nath’s food this evening and it was nothing short of amazing. It takes a little bit longer to come out as she is preparing all of it herself but the wait is well worth it. I ordered the Red Chicken Curry and my girlfriend had the Pad Thai with Chicken. Hands down the best curry I’ve had to date and the pad thai was extremely flavorful. There wasn’t a drop left on our plates. Halfway through our meal she approached our table and asked us how the food was and mentioned that she was going to bring us something special. She then surprised us with some Turmeric Noodles, followed by her Green Curry and finally the Beef Lok Lak. Each dish equally impeccably cooked and crafted. Such a wonderful experience and Chef Nath is an even more wonderful person. We will definitely be making the stop here to visit Chef Nath on our way through Santa Fe from now on and highly recommend you...
Read moreMy partner and I travel to Santa Fe a few times a year and always make a point to stop and eat here. Nath has a GIFT with flavors! I’ve never had Pad Thai this fresh and tasty. I love all the organic vegetables that they take the time to prep, the lime squeezed on top and her homemade chili sauce that is the cherry on top. We also devoured the Beef Lok Lak for the first time which was absolutely incredible. The beef was a melting amazing flavor bomb.
What makes this place extra special is Nath herself. She is the sweetest, most welcoming owner and even shares little secrets about her dishes, which makes you feel like part of her kitchen. The care she puts into everything deserves so many awards. If you want food that is vibrant, full of love, and unforgettable, this is the...
