We were guests at the hotel. Stopped by Social after walking back from the nearby Railyard. We had Margaritas to check off a spot in our Margarita Trail Passports. The 2 young ladies working the bar were great. The Sage Margaritas were light years better than the ones we had at a nearby place whose namesake is a Tequila based cocktail. Interestingly enough, that place was not on the Margarita Trail.
The atmosphere in the bar was laid back and friendly. I wish it were open later, but considering at least 1 of the ladies working the bar had been there since breakfast service, I totally understand.
I recommend staying here. The hotel is nothing fancy. It's close enough to the attractions without being inconvenienced by crowds or potential noise. Don't go to breakfast at the last minute on the weekends, and be sure to stop by the bar in the evening if you have time to...

Ordered nachos (thought I watched her enter it into the computer) and a soda, but the soda machine wasn’t working, so just waters. Waited and waited and waited for our food, checking in with the other server a few times. Finally after more than an hour with no food and no one ever coming to our table, we got up to leave. The queso was bland, the hatched eggs were unremarkable, the empanaditas were ok but bland, the poppers were fresh but not much flavor (jalapeño tasted like a bell pepper). But worst of all, the chips with the queso were stale and when we brought it to the server’s attention she brought them to the kitchen and then brought them right back saying the kitchen said they were just made at 3pm (2.5hrs prior) which I don’t believe for a second. I everything tasted store-bought (especially the chips). Just go somewhere else, Santa Fe has no shortage...
