I love Augie's. The food is delicious. Everything I’ve eaten was tasty and cooked to perfection. we are so lucky to have a reasonably priced Josiah Citron location on Main Street. The passion he brings to his acclaimed restaurants, including Malisse, is evident in every bite. I have had the dirty chicken, the combo plate, the chicken sandwich, the incredible mushrooms, the lemon potatoes, the corn ribs, and a couple other items. I’ve heard really good things about the burger too. Of course, I wish it had an indoor seating area too, but the outdoor patio is pleasant enough, and they have heaters as needed. The employee there, who was very nice, said, "the owner is a Michelin starred chef and considers his food a work of art". I said, I came to eat good food, not art and this is not a museum or art gallery".
This place, I though, was a restaurant, supposedly in the hospitality business, but they are apparently have a strange sense of entitlement.
No chance I'll be back...
