This park is great for kids of all ages. There are small slides to accommodate toddlers and bigger slides for your more coordinated kids. There is one set of swings for small babies and another set of traditional swings for everyone else. A small rock climbing wall is fun to teach your kids how to climb. The center playground is covered by shade which is nice on hot days.
Peak times are usually from 8am to about 12pm and then there is hardly anyone between 12-2pm after two there is an little after school rush of kids but not as bad as the morning.

Read moreThere was so much parking on a cloudy Sunday. Free parking for handicap but $15 for a day. Close to the pier...just a 7 minutr walk. You can rent bikes on either side of the park. There's a cute cafe with sand and beach chairs set up to enjoy your snacks. They closed up early with the rain. The bathroom werent that bad but no place to dry your hands and no soap. So pack some wipes or sanitizer. The toilet was nice and soft though. A playground for little ones is also close by. Theres a few benches for eating and watching life...
