The room was very clean and had good lighting. The Bathroom was tiled and very clean with a nice large shower. Parking was a bit of an issue and I had to park of site. Lincoln Boulevard is very busy and makes coming and going a bit challenging. Acces to the waterfront area was fairly straight forward but it was still quite a distance to get there. The rooms does not have coffee machines but the complimentary coffee at the front desk was of good quality and really tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and helped to make it a pleasant stay. I will not hesitate to suggest Ocean Park Inn as a good place to stay for a night or 2 when visiting Santa Monica.

We will never forget our amazing experience at the Ocean Park Inn. We were only supposed to stay 1 time while we were in LA and booked another 2 times after that because we loved it so much, it truly felt like home. Cam who runs the place is absolutely amazing, he helped us with transport, places to go and overall great advice. We had free coffee every morning and the location was perfect, easy access to Venice beach and Santa Monica pier. We will be recommending Ocean Park Inn to all our family and friends who come to LA. I can’t thank Cam and the staff enough for everything. We will definitely be back!

The Hotel was an outstanding surprise. Starting on the check in, we arrived early and reception was able to find an available room. Utilities were beyond expected, from beach towels to purified water, coffee and plug adaptors for those who forget. In terms of noise, the room was sound isolated, which was unexpected since the hotel is situated in a busy road and considering previous reviews. Parking lot has limited room however there is a close by alternative when full. Common space is pleasant and gives you the opportunity for a quiet breakfast/dinner outside. Would definitely recommend.

Awful! Can I give negative stars?? Save yourself while you still can!! Worst stay ever! Worst service I’ve ever experienced. We would have left except there are no refunds and we already paid around $500. We booked for 3 nights. The first night, got a room that was a queen bed. The tv didn’t work, wanted to call the office, phone didn’t work.. the water coming from the shower smelled like sewer water. Then around 10pm the people in the room below us start fighting and yelling and the walls are so thin, we could hear all the four letter words they were shouting at each other. Not what we want our two year old hearing. That stopped around midnight, but started up again around 6am. I go to the front desk to complain and we’re given a key to another room. That would have been nice except it was to a room that was occupied!! It was mortifying walking in on some people trying to sleep. The clerk blames “the person before her” on the mixup and gives us another key to another room. That key won’t work, so another trip to the front desk. Finally get to the new room but now it’s two smaller beds so we can’t sleep in the same bed together. The second room has oddly placed outlets that only half work after you wiggle the cord for a bit. The smoke alarm is busted and hanging off the wall. There’s no light in the closet making it unusable and the water still smells suspicious. Also there’s no air conditioning so we cracked the window, but road noise is super loud. The parking is really tight and I would only recommend parking a compact car there. There’s signs all over to park between the lines but lines aren’t very visible so if one car parks off, it throws the whole thing off and wastes several spots. On the last night we left to grab some food and came back 10 minutes later to two cars double parked. Called the front seat to see if they can contact the drivers to repark so we don’t have to park on the street down the block. The guy at the desk tells me “he’s busy checking someone in and will take care of it” and hangs up on me. 10 minutes later he knocks on the door and rudely stated that “there’s two spots available and to not look at other people’s cars.” I go out and look at the lot, there’s kinda one spot but it has a traffic cone in it, blocking it off. If we park there, our car will get hit by other cars trying to come and go from the parking lot. I go to the desk, ask him to come show me the spot. He angrily get up and follows me to the lot. He points to the coned off spot and says “ here’s a spot” I ask about the cone. He grabs the cone and throws it off to the side and very rudely yells “ok look now it’s a spot.” He stomps back to the front desk. I returned to my room. This is the worst service I’ve ever received and I plan on reporting them to the...

Very unsatisfied and WILL NOT RETURN EVEN IF I WAS GIVEN A 'ONE NIGHT' FREE STAY ROOM!!

I scoped our first (upstairs) room, pulled back the sheets on the bed and noticed hair on the sheets under the nicely made bed. Then went to the restrooms and hair was on the shower walls. I immediately brought it to the receptionist attention and she acted concern and switched me to a downstairs room to a better cleaned one, hidden in the corner. Of course I inspected that room too and it past my clearance.

During the duration spent in the (downstairs) room, I literally got no sleep at all because you can hear every single movement above. Just my luck, the people who were in the room above were up all night walking around, laughing, bouncing on the noisy bed and watched TV all night. Coincidently if my luck couldn't get any worst, I even had someone who tried to enter my room! First they attempted to open the door handle but it was locked. That person then knocked quietly.. I looked thru the peep hole and it was a man standing off to the side. I didnt open the door but responded that he had the wrong room. He said sorry and walked off... I waiting to hear if he attempted to go to the next room perhaps and that never happened. Thank goodness for my street smartness with locking my doors. Call me paranoid but who knows what would have happened.

Im currently up right now typing this up at 4:07am because I want others to know, you get what you pay for!!! These walls are thin and the beds make noise.

My advise for anyone who plans on reserving a room anyways make sure you get the upstairs room! & check the cleaness before getting comforable.

From this point forward, I will never put a price on safety when vacaying only with my daughter.

The upside to this stay was that the receptionist customer service was good and the beach is near.. thats about it.

Sincerely, My honest feedback review..

PS - In 2 more hours Im looking forward to either a Starbucks double shot caffeine or the famous Rockstar energy drink to prevent me from falling asleep on the way home back North!! Thanks...

This motel does not have air conditioning in their rooms! I wanted to make sure that is the first thing people know. Customer service here is non-existent. When I walked up the front desk there was a gentleman sitting there who clearly can see guests walking up but even after ringing their doorbell on the window it was at least 3 minutes before we were helped.

They have the "No Refunds" sign for a reason - because they are terrible! I was in California for a week and I have never had as bad an experience as I did here. This place makes every other motel I stayed here look like a resort. I will admit I didn't notice there was no air conditioning until I had been in my room for at least 30 minutes possibly longer I wasn't sure but when I walked up the front desk to leave and ask for a refund the man in the front said no matter how long I was in the room he was not going to give me a refund - he said I would have had to mention a problem in the first 5 or 10 minutes.

I was already having a stressful day because I drove in to Los Angeles the day after the fires started in Ventura and Sunland. You could smell the smoke all the way down in Santa Monica! My partner and I came to visit California because we have problems with air quality in our town so there was no way I was going to stay in a room with no air conditioning and be forced open the window. When I did try to open the window I could hear a loud hum from the nearby maintenance room.

The bed in the room I was given had uncomfortable noisy springs. The bathroom had the cheapest soaps and toiletries I have ever seen. There was noticeable mold and rust in many areas - the bathroom didn't even look like it was cleaned before I got there. The only good thing about this place was that they had their own parking lot - I wasn't in Santa Monica for long but I noticed you had to pay for parking nearly everywhere.

I was very disappointed in this place's customer service. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. I left without a refund and eventually was credited back the funds by my credit...
