Tikka Masala & Grill — Restaurant in Santa Monica

I used to order from this place on Doordash all the time and it is incredibly yummy, but now it isn’t on doordash or any other delivery app anymore. Instead they have their own website that lies and extorts money. I ordered from the downtown location and it didn’t exist so my order was cancelled. Then, I ordered from the Silver Lake location for pickup and called the number they gave me and it was a different restaurant entirely that had no order for me whatsoever. Last, I tried to switch that pickup order to delivery (since there was no address to pick it up at and the number to call didn’t work) and it never came. My account was charged three times (despite only making two orders) and I have yet to receive my refunds. Do not order from here, let the terrible website that looks like it’s from the 90s, the utter lack of information online about this company and complete lack of transparency speak for itself.

Wow, have to agree with another negative reviewer that a lot of these positive reviews seem pretty suspect… my experience here was not great. Online, it said the Tikka Masala was $13. I ordered that (no rice, which isn’t included at $13?… ok, I guess) and naan. Then, the woman asked me if I wanted a kombucha. I politely declined, then she insisted. I shook my head no again, and she said “I’ll give it to you.” My total was $23. So either it was $10 for a single piece of naan, it was $10 for naan and a kombucha I was told would be free, or the menu prices listed online are false.
