It's Heavenly — Restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach

My friends and I went after a dinner nearby and were looking forward to some great ice cream. As we waited, we were all laughing having a great time when an employee (Kendraya?) walked outside and yelled at us telling us “If we wanted to be served we needed to be quiet,” in an extremely rude and condescending tone. We then walked in, hoping for our experience to better, when she stared at us the entire time whispering to her employees about us. I asked for her name from another employee and then she rudely asked me as to why when I was checking out. I told her that I didn’t understand why she treated us that way and she claimed there was no “horse play” on the porch. I assure you we were laughing enjoying vacation, not “horse playing.” She also explained to me that she was the manager, so there was nothing I could do about it. She was also wearing her mask below her nose during a global pandemic risking contamination to all customers. Ice cream was great, service was absolutely horrible. First time ever being in the store and I requested a certain item in a waffle cone and as a lady walked over to combine the chocolate ice cream and brownies together she dropped the ice cream on the floor. The other lady said oh the ice cream is fine I would eat it but I requested them to try again. The lady fixing my ice cream was not paying attention had her mask down off of her face was laughing and carrying on with other people and actually making fun of me because I like chocolate ice cream. She did not put in a waffle cone and I requested her to redo it. The manager came out told me they don’t give refunds and I asked her where it said that and it doesn’t say that anywhere on the register. She said oh that’s On my other register which is not out in public. She told me not to get hateful with her employees and was going to remake the ice cream herself. I will never patronize this place and I hope you pay attention to their lack of respect to customers. Manager informed me they are not required to wear mask they were doing it as a courtesy to its patrons. Terrible...

Absolutely terrible experience the girl behind the counter was so rude an disrespectful I asked for a banana split only to be told they don’t have bananas I asked if I could have it without the bananas and she rudely told me no! I’m confused your asking 10.00 which I was willing to pay and you still would not sell it to me.
