The young woman who took my order was very rude. She just stared at me blankly when I walked up, as if I were bothering her. I ordered the strawberry goat cheese sandwich with no prosciutto. She added prosciutto & charged me extra, which I only figured out later. She knew she had made a mistake bc she told the associate making the food about her mistake and to make it without, but did not bother to resolve the matter of overcharging me. She got my name completely wrong, and when my food was ready, she called out the wrong name, asked me if I was that person, I said no & she shrugged & walked away. Ten minutes later, I go to see what’s taking so long, find out that she messed my name up, overcharged for my sandwich, knew my food was ready, and didn’t bother to say perhaps she had misheard my name but that my food was indeed ready or anything. Then when I open the sandwich, there was just about a teaspoon of strawberry jam on the entire sandwich. $15 for a $9 sandwich that wasn’t even made correctly. I was so irritated at that point that it was not worth asking for...

Food was okay but the service was HORRIBLE! Will change my review once she has been sat down and spoken to by the manager I went there today and ordered a strawberry goat grilled cheese I was really excited to try one but the young girl at the window taking orders was just outright aggresive I had no idea this place didn’t except cash because I had never been there before and the girl barks at me saying my name and saying “ Is that a tap card? IS THAT A TAP CARD? even though it was a rap card I could of still put the chip in 🤦🏽‍♂️ but I guess she didn’t want me to use the chip idk weird of her to just constant tell me to tap it when I could of still paid with the way I was doing which was using the chip Then as I go to pull out cash she goes “ Do you have a card we don’t take cash here” in a very rude manner like you don’t have to be so aggressive to get a point across THAT YOUNG GIRL NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED AND TAUGHT HOW TO SPEAK APPROPRIATELY...

Ordered a plain grilled cheese sandwich. It tasted good (pretty hard to ruin a grilled cheese unless you burn it!) but be warned — it was an ordeal! First you have to scan their QR code to get their menu. Then you have to place your order on the app. Next, you need to provide your credit card info. THEN you have to give your name, email address AND phone number — all this for a $5 plain cheese sandwich!! Only one other food truck required this kind of ordering and payment. If I had’t been buying for my granddaughter, I would have gone somewhere else. At the end, although the app promises a text message when the food is ready, our sandwich was left sitting on the counter until we went...

Cute little Airstream in Seaside where we got a All American grilled cheese. One of the last shops to close down, the service was fine, and the grilled cheese was phenomenal. It took a while to be prepared, but after taking the first bite, I could tell why... They cook that grilled cheese low and slow, getting the exterior of the bread nice and crispy while leaving the inside light and fluffy. The cheese steamed up all gooey. My only regret is not getting a picture of the cheese pull.

Meltdown is a tasty spot in one of the Airstream food trailers along 30A in picture-perfect Seaside, FL. The atmosphere is top notch. Nothing beats looking out over the ocean as you chow down on a comforting grilled cheese. You order at the window and then await the gooey, melty goodness. I got the Five Cheese and it did not disappoint. Crunchy grilled bread and five kinds of cheese making a statement. Nice stop for a bite along 30A.

There is a great variety with this grilled cheese sandwich truck! I had the “this little figgy” (Brie, bacon, and sweet fig compote - pictured below) and my husband had the caprese with prosciutto. I liked mine but probably would try something different next time. My husband loved his. They were about $10 each, which for 30a food trucks…is not that bad. 😅 The cashier was SO friendly!
