Absolutely Disgraceful – Total Money Grab and Zero Integrity
I’ve never been so infuriated by a business in my life. We recently parked our golf cart at the WaterColor Beach Club, only to find it booted without warning – NO visible signage, NO clear instructions. We asked around and were told repeatedly that the manager, someone named Moore, had the authority to remove it. Did he help? Absolutely not. He didn’t have the decency to speak with us directly. Instead, he sent a security guard, who outright lied and claimed there was “nothing he could do.” Funny enough, his own coworker admitted that was false and openly said this was a purposeful scheme to squeeze money out of guests.
Let that sink in: their own employees ADMITTED this is a scam they run intentionally.
And to make it worse, these employees refer to themselves with military-style ranks, which is not only absurd but incredibly disrespectful to real service members. It's a pathetic attempt to sound authoritative while running what amounts to a predatory racket.
We spend thousands of dollars to stay in WaterColor’s so-called luxury homes, only to be nickel-and-dimed at every single turn. This booting scam was the final straw. We were lied to, hung up on multiple times, and treated with complete disrespect – all while being calm, polite, and reasonable. The lack of signage confused several other families trying to park in the same spot, and we ended up warning them to avoid the same fate.
WaterColor, you should be ashamed. If you’re going to charge top-tier prices for your rentals, the very least you could do is act with a shred of honesty and decency. Instead, you prey on your own paying guests....
Read moreOur family has vacationed in WaterColor for years and always loved it—until now. This time, we were hit with a $160 parking ticket for a golf cart. My daughter, who had parked in the same spot for the past couple of days while visiting the WaterColor Beach Club, had no idea it was an issue. The worst part? There was no ticket or warning left on the cart, nothing. If there had been, we would’ve fixed it immediately. We’re rule followers and fully respect the need for structure, but the way this was handled was completely out of line.
When we asked for help, the parking manager, Christopher, told us to contact the golf cart rental company, even though he had full authority to resolve the issue himself. He chose not to. Instead, he dismissed us and made it clear he wasn’t interested in taking responsibility or offering any real customer service. Absolutely ridiculous.
I run a business rooted in service and respect, and Christopher showed neither. A little understanding and clear communication would’ve gone a long way, but instead we were treated as if we intentionally ignored the rules—which couldn’t be further from the truth.
WaterColor has always been a special place for our family, but this experience made us feel unwelcome and frustrated. One bad manager changed the tone of our...
Read moreIf I could give Watercolor Beach Club zero stars, I would. Our experience here was atrocious. My group and I were enjoying our time by the pool for the 3rd day when, out of nowhere, a staff member decided to publicly humiliate us by loudly demanding that we clean up our empty cans. There’s no staff or cocktail servers to take your order or bus your pool chairs, but I didn’t think they’d expect you to ASK the bartender for a hefty bag to collect your cups and cans? They paused music and the tone was aggressive, and the entire pool area turned to watch as we were shamed for something that could have been handled discreetly, or better yet, by the staff themselves—considering the steep price we paid for a holiday weekend at this so-called "luxury" club.
The level of unprofessionalism and complete lack of hospitality was shocking. We came here to relax and unwind, not to be treated like children. This place has a lot of nerve calling itself a premium destination. Save your money and your dignity—go somewhere else where they actually understand the meaning of customer service. Go anywhere in Cabo or St Barths and avoid this weird,...
