The food was amazing! We were a party of three and I got to try a little of everyone’s. We got the seafood boil, the captains platter, and the oysters Rockefeller. Everything is generously seasoned with a Cajun blend of spices. The oysters Rockefeller were amazing, the Parmesan cream sauce elevated the oysters, and the bacon added a great salt flavor that compliments the oyster. The captains platter is a whole load of food be prepared! The crab claws were delectable, the shrimp was seasoned perfectly, the cod was juicy, and the batter has a great blend of spices. I reccomend the seafood boil if you love crab legs! Every part of the seafood boil had that Cajun feel but the crab legs were the star of the show! The house chips and French onion dip were a great appetizer to snack on and have room for your meal. Now let’s talk drinks! I had the” one in a melon” which was a subtle tequila cocktail and was a great refresher from getting sun at the beach. My girlfriend had a “getting barelled” and seemed to my amateur tastes like their take on a AMF; the souvenir cup that comes with it is a good deal too. She then got a “paid vacation” which was just as much as an experience as it was a delicious drink! The mixture of aromatics and the unique Szechuan flower provided a floral and citrusy flavor. Now the experience comes in when you bite Szechuan flower, smell the aromatics, and take a drink! Your tongue is coated in the Szechuan flower which numbs your tongue slightly and activates your saliva glands! It made all of the food taste even better and was a unique experience in itself! Overall, the food was amazing, the service was top notch, and the drinks were tasty! I didn’t even mention the great beachline view you have while you enjoy your food! 10/10 will...
Read moreHad a wonderful time at the Wharf! The oysters were amazing according to the people I was with, but personally I would have the Bourbon Salmon every dang day! By far the BEST salmon I’ve ever had at a restaurant and for a perfectly reasonable price for the portion. The crab cake was fairly expensive for just a single cake but the cake was decently sized. Would have been nice to get two cakes but regardless it was scrumptious as well.
There’s not much flex room on the menu for dietary restrictions like gluten free or dairy free, but the kitchen staff was more than happy to swap out sides to accommodate my uncommon intolerances. The waitstaff were rockstars too, with a great sense of humor! Grand opening jitters led to a couple little spills, but we all laughed it off since Brittany, one of the managers, made us feel at ease and handled any small issues flawlessly.
This place is great and I’m looking forward to going again to try some desserts (too stuffed from the other food to try this time). Looking forward to trying some of the drinks next time too; they all looked so good and I regret not getting one when I was there 😭 All in all, I cannot recommend the Wharf enough, and wish it nothing but success! I can totally see it becoming a hot spot...
Read moreOur experience at The Wharf Fish and Oyster Company was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. We chose to sit outside, which gave us a beautiful view of the Sound while the kids played in the playground and waded in the water. It was the perfect setup—allowing us to unwind with a glass of wine while they had a blast.
The food was absolutely fantastic. We started with their hand-cut french fries, which were brought out early to keep the kids happy—such a thoughtful touch! For our main dishes, we had the fried crab claws and the tuna nachos, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Every bite was incredible, and the quality of the seafood really stood out.
This is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to again and again. It’s rare to find a place that caters so well to both adults and kids, offering delicious food, a great setting, and a family-friendly environment. If you’re looking for a laid-back, scenic, and delicious dining experience, The Wharf is the...
