Was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. My food was take out. I ordered the chicken tikka masala “burrito” ($10.99) and vegetable korma ($15.99 )(specified medium).before I even received my order they added an additional item to my order and charged me $8 extra. The “burrito” was just 4 pieces of chicken in a gigantic naan taco. It was so soggy that I could not eat it with my hands. It was very flavorless. I tasted the cucumber and lettuce more than the sauce. The vegetable korma had an ok flavor, but I ordered medium and there wasn’t any heat at all going on and the veggies were mushy. You could tell canned greened beans were used. I suggest a little bit of rice in the chicken tikka masala naan TACO to soak up all the flavorless sauce so you can manage it with your hands and not have it immediately disintegrate in your hands. Ask for spicy too for everything. It feels like they’re trying to water down what should be flavorful food. I can’t believe what they charge for such low quality food.

This place is in a strip mall with not many other businesses open in the evening so plenty of parking. They have ample space for indoor dining plus a patio with 4 tables for outdoor dining. We started with the mango lassi which is one of the best lassis I have ever had - not watered down like at other places. We started with the samosas (potato & peas fried fritters), then continued onto the saag paneer (greens with farmers cheese), aloo jeera (potato with cumin seeds), chicken tikka (chicken marinated in yogurt and spices), butter chicken (marinated chicken cooked in a butter tomato sauce) and naan (flatbreads). Everything was delicious but note that they do not include rice with the curry/saucy dishes. Shout out to Shriya, our server, who was friendly, attentive, and entertaining!

Truly a hidden Gem indeed!! ♡ Banod, one of the owners and an amazing server is highly knowledgeable, very kind, and fun to converse with:) The food is impeccable ♡ Tasteful, they hit the spice perfectly and they cater to the Vegans ! Woot woot ! Great big menu with food for all the foodies to eat. Definitely a place to try over and over again :) my new favorite spot in town! Great place for a date with yourself and your loved ones ♡ Favorite appetizer is the veggie memo, the Lentil soup. Favorite dish is the veggie curry, or lentil dish with garlic naan and rice ♡ Thank you for being here ♡

Update: Based on the owners response. If you feel you must have them cater or host a large party beware anything verbal from this business. Get everything in writing. They verbally told me a very low number which I said seemed rather low $650-$750. They called and asked me if we were still coming the day of the event. She said it was going to be a little bit more expensive and I expected that but then came in at over $2,500. I'm still not convinced the tried to scam us but I do feel scammed.

Original review below:

I had been here for takeout a couple times and enjoyed the food and the staff. So much so that I arrainged to have our company party there. I had emailed and phoned with the owner to discuss menu options and she quoted me between $650-$750. I told her that I thought that sounded a bit low and to recheck her numbers. The day of the party we confirmed that there would be 22 of us and she said it may be a little more than she quoted. We showed up and saw they had set up a little buffet for us for entres and began to slowly bring out appitizers. Appitizers took a bit over an hour to bring out, dropping off one or two pakoras to each person, then one samosa each 20 minutes later. They provided paper cups for chai. While the hour plus appitizer service went on, our dinner sat in hot pans with sterno fire beneath. We finally got to the mains that had been sitting. While we were eating the overcooked food the owner tapped me on the shoulder and asked if she could speak to me. I went with her and she proceeded to tell me that the total was more than she had quoted, I asked how much and she said $2500 - that's $113 per person without drinks or dessert. I told her that it seemed a bit high and it was three times what she quoted for the buffet. I then proceeded to give her my credit card and paid the $2511.70. I sent her a follow up email that she didn't even respond to. I highly suggest you reconsider any large partys or catering with them. They just aren't set up for it and the communication isn't good. We could have gone to someplace a lot better for that kind of money. Unfortunatly the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not...

$40 for ONE entrée and side for a carry out order! Crooks with BAD food and extremely poor service. Worst food ever. Pigs won’t even eat it. On top of that they over charge you for everything single thing on their menu on website. We were in a mood to try this Indian restaurant for the first time so decided to get a carry out. We ended up ordering their lamb dish- lamb boti kabab. First of all- this is NOT an Indian restaurant. May be Bangladeshi or something. Secondly, their food is NOT edible. It was stale and gross. We’re sure that the meat wasn’t even lamb. And it was hard and stale. We could not even chew their tandoori roti (Indian bread) is how stale it was. And they charged us $4+ for each flat bread which is a LOT more than their menu online. Additionally, their menu on their CURRENT website clearly mentioned add rice for 1 dollar for entrees. So we added 2 rice and they charged us $4 per rice. So our total that was supposed to be 25 dollar for JUST 1 entree and sides of rice & roti/bread turned out to be $38.00. The girl at the reception is extremely rude and has no idea what she’s talking about. And she’s very dismissing of the customers. As soon as you place the order on the phone- she says your total is 38 dollars- what’s your card number? Nothing about how long would the food take etc was said. She’s like- “you don’t want your receipt, do you?” When we questioned after we paid, they were like- “we just bought this place from old owners few months ago and the website is yet to be updated. We need to up all our prices- we just haven’t gotten to it yet” Absolutely no responsibility was taken for their extra charges from their menu online. Food was horrible. Bad business. They may have made 15 extra dollars today by their fraud tactics but they have lost us as their customers for ever and many others....

08/28/21GrubHub please drop this sorry no good filthy location. Every order since the new lady host has been horrible. Food is always delayed she always lies. Like today food was placed 37 mins ago. After I arrived like 12 mins afterward that’s 50mins. She said they just got the order

10/29/21 Just wow! So yesterday here in Santa Rosa, Ca had a pick up for Indian food at Cummin Restaurant. I had the order for 15 mins. Was dropping off another order already. Got to the restaurant. Pick up time was the same when I got there(lucky). So I waited like 5 mins to enter. As I parked some one else pulls up apparently it was another restaurant worker. So I enter and ask the girl that is behind the counter. Of course she had AirPods on and ignores me. So the other worker who just parked and walked in and said straight to my face. We just got the order!!!! I blew up like who if I got it 15mins before you even got here. I asked her to see the tablet and of course they got orders!!!! Cause the other worker is hearing music with the air pods. I told the manager and of course he doesn’t care. I really hope they close...
