Best place in Santa Rosa... I know there's a whole street that's essentially dedicated to Mexican food (Sebastopol Rd) but man this place is good. I've had many super burritos here, and every time it's on par. The nachos are also just how I like them, enough of each ingredient, and not just a pile of chips with cheese melted. I've had the pollo, carne asada, carnitas, grilled fish taco, and they are all good choices. Not the cheapest but really what place in California hasn't gone up in price? I honestly am unsure of whether to leave this review for fear of prices going up more haha, but I'll spread the love. Enjoy!

Enjoyed all the food! The carnitas were exceptional, very tender with a little char and no bits of gristle or chunks of fat. The asada and pastor were perfectly seasoned but it was a little odd that they use ground beef and ground pork for these. The flavor was so good I didn’t care. Fresh soft tortillas and nice pico de gallo. Burrito was great as well. They give you two types of red salsa, both very tasty but not very spicy. Tip: upon request, they gave me a little mouth burning habanero sauce which really brought everything together. Be warned that a tiny amount goes a long way!

I tried them twice this time before reviewing. Both times really good, I got the super burrito with steak the first time and my mom got 2 tacos also really good. The second time I got the bacon breakfast burrito, it was packed with bacon and the potatoes where cooked perfectly. My mom got a chimichanga it was big, cooked nice and crispy. There salsa is really good its like a pico de gallo mix but not hot just really tasty. This place is a total recommend. Ill eat here again soon

Really friendly service and good food. Has a dive restaurant vibe but not in a bad way. My only issue was when I order something with carne asada my expectations are strips of grilled steak not grilled ground beef which is called carne molida or carne picadillo depending on who you ask. I ordered the carne asada nachos and got is had grilled ground beef. It was fine but not what I was expecting. They also serve hamburgers so my guess is they use ground beef to cut cost and simplify what they need to order from their vendors. In my opinion it would be nice if they renamed the carne asada to something more accurate. Otherwise the food ir really good my wife got a veggie quesadilla and it had a really good assortment of veggies and was very tasty. The trays of chips provided could be a bit larger but they'll happily give you more if you ask. I can't recommend anything carne asada here but other than that...

This place was the first Mexican food I ever had in my life around 2004. Which is both a good and bad thing. Good thing cuz the food is great; their chicken burritos are the gold standard I compare any other place to now. Bad thing cuz its very very hard to find another Mexican place that can compare to this restaurant. I been from LA to Washington on the west coast and seriously, I still can't find a better chicken burrito - also their chunky salsa is bomb. I had my going-away lunch at work here just so I could grace my ignorant coworkers of this gem in Santa Rosa. When I left Santa Rosa, and had all my stuff packed in my jeep, ready to move to another state - I left with a hot chicken burrito. And when I come back to visit SR, there's one place I'm gonna go for sure .

Viva Las Palmas. Viva Su...

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND- From the minute I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. The menu was really broad which I really appreciated. The service was quick. We didn't wait very long for our food. All food was made to order. The portions were very, very generous for the price point. And, when we tried to the food it was definitely quality authentic Mexican food. I was so surprised that the corn tortillas were even made from scratch! The shrimp were nice succulent prawns not just little shrimp. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. I also had the ceviche tostada. it was the BEST ceviche tostada I had ever had- and I have had them all over the US and in Mexico. It was bursting with flavor. It was such a great experience all the way around- I can't...
