A horrible experience. I came in and asked for tongue piercing which is $100….got into the chair and she looked at my anatomy of my tongue and told me that I had a vein running through the middle of my tongue so she would have to pierce it crooked. I wasn’t able to get a single word in to ask for a different piercing because she wouldn’t stop talking. She pierced my tongue crooked and now I have to take it out, $100 is wasted. I went to a different piercing shop to see what they would say and they said they 100% pierced it wrong. She didn’t use any utensils but a needle and markings to pierce my tongue. Horrible. I got pierced by Christy. I got an industrial and I was told that I wouldn't see the whole industrial bar, which was odd to me, but I decided to go ahead with it. You couldn't see the bar at all. Everything I was told was that you should be able to see it and it shouldn't be pushing into the cartilage, which it was. I went to a shop that Christy recommended to look at jewelry and I was told that it was done completely wrong and it wouldn't heal. Went to another shop to get a second opinion and she said she wouldn't have pierced me and I should remove it. Waited days for Christy to be available. It was fast and comfortable, but arguably too fast. Pricing is kind of outrageous compared to most other piercers, especially since the lady who did it is clearly new to the game. It was clean and quick, but placement of both piercings was rushed and came out wrong for both of us. The septum was so high up you can barely see the jewelry and my tongue is very clearly crooked as hell. Granted she was trying to make it work with my frenulum, but if she wouldve slowed down slightly, it wouldve come out perfect. Other than that it was a decent experience.
