Beautiful, often over-looked park. I think many go elsewhere most likely due to the homeless that tend to conjugate there. For that reason and the very limited playground area, I wouldn't recommend it for children. That is, unless your kids tend to spend more time in the grass area than the playground. The park is a great place for taking a walk. This is where it really shines. Multiple pathways are intertwined throughout the park including a arching bridge over the middle of the waterway that snakes diagonally through the park. Typically you'll find a few ducks wading in the water. It's not an overwhelming swarm of ducks (also no geese) like the ones that plague Howarth Park. Tall towering trees provide shaded area, while others are in-bloom, creating a gorgeous backdrop. Throw in a couple monument statues, a garden area and an area where elderly people play a strange game that's a cross between shuffleboard and bowling. This park has a little of everything you'd want from a park but unfortunately also has a fair amount of homeless people. Although I've never had any issues with a homeless person there, I think it's a factor many parents with young kids (myself included) take into consideration when choosing a park

It's beautiful and clean and nice old trees and a sweet walking area but where in earth are the toilets? Oh!! Hidden down the back street where Luther Burbank is to the right when you are facing it - half a block to the north are the lovely down ramps to the fish run is the WAlkway to go to Oliver Park ... it's the next walk bridge to the west past the double dragon tiled art and it's tunnel.

Julliard Park is a lovely community park with open grassy areas, walking paths, and plenty of space to relax or enjoy a picnic. It has a peaceful atmosphere with shady trees and benches, making it a nice spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to spend quiet time outdoors. A great place to take a stroll, unwind, or enjoy a sunny afternoon in Santa Rosa!

A peaceful park with a nostalgic founder who created a well rounded, peaceful place to step out of city life without leaving the city. A safe place as I've seen many children enjoying life there and you know children criticism without an emotional bias, usually straight up, oh this is blank and when they are comfortable they are totally involved in what ever they do alone or in groups and laughing children puts everyone at ease. I understand it's a complete turn around from the past of which I have no knowledge. It does seem to have a happy following in the neighborhood, thanks for to the locals and parks department for taking very good care of it. When roses are in bloom, there is an extensive rose garden next to a vegetable garden along with two Bocci ball courts. The fountain would be cool but I'm sure it's off due to drought. All in all a peace ful walk around with benches to rest and socialize all around it is a must...

This is a really beautiful park located near downtown Santa Rosa. Depending on what time of day or week you come it can be either practically empty or really crowded. It is a very popular place to do wedding photos and other types of photos as it has great backdrops and many spots to pose. There is also a playground for the children and lots of big open space to run. There does tend to be a large homeless population that hangs out here off and on during the day, but they have never...
