If you wanna try this place?I wouldn't recommended it cause first it's very high price compare to other Vietnamese Pho restaurants.(Other places charged like $12.50 or $13 but their price like lowest it's $14 and $16 for regular bowl but it's smaller than you think) They are very cheap on amount of foods and charged with higher price. The taste is nothing special the broth it's kinda salty and plain, the meats are old to me (cause i got Pho to go i can see how they give the meats in the box they don't look fresh at all)You paid $16 for a bowl of Pho (The special Pho House on menu) but you will be very hungry after you are done. They are ripping you off on the price and on the foods also. And watch out they will put the price higher like $1 when you to go the foods cause i remember i saw the price on menu when i order the rice dish it's $22 and she charged me $23 on the recipe you should alway check your recipe otherwise i know it's just $1 or $2 but it makes different on 10 peoples or 20 peoples.Never come back here again. This place don't make good foods, over price and very cheap on foods. And i feel the lady take the orders...
Read moreWe were a bit skeptical when a place has their hands dipped in so many cuisines. We skipped the Korean food and stuck with Vietnamese.
We ordered:
-Fish sauce wings ($12 for 6): I love that it was served on a plate of lettuce, Cucumber, and tomatoes. The wings were not overly battered but still had the crunch at every bite. The sauce had the umami flavor of fish sauce with the thick consistency but not runny.
-Pho house special ($16): Not bad, on the sweeter end. Reminds me of home cooking, didn’t taste any msg. Fresh and light broth. Sriracha brand makes a difference and they carry the Flying Goose brand which we are not a fan. We had left overs and used the rooster brand at home which tasted even better.
-Giant beef bone ($12): Giant for sure from the knee cap but not much meat. It had marrow. Ask for scissors.
-BBH #1 ($16): Tasted fresh and clean like home cooking. No msg. However, it lacked the spiciness and bold flavors. I was disappointed that it wasn’t served with banana blossom.
This place has potential. The service was outstanding. You could satisfied your Viet and Korean cravings....
Read moreCan’t say I will be returning to this place. To start of I ordered takeout soup. They gave me a fork with it?? For the pho, the container they put it in makes it impossible to mix all of toppings you will need a bowl which doesn’t really make it takeout friendly. Furthermore, all special requests were fully disregarded. I asked for no cilantro and extra lime. They gave me cilantro and only one tiny lime.
Now for the flavor: Kimichi Tofu Soup: pretty much just tasted like pho but with a little bit of spice otherwise not really like kimchi
Pho Tai: pretty average, meat was very chewy and too thick to cook in the broth. You need thin slices to fully cook the meat so not really sure what they were doing there.
Also prices are overpriced for the quality and...
