The drive thru is way to slow for the amount of traffic in this location, everywhere, added with the slow progress of the line. Only 1 window being used. The food was extremely overpriced to find out I can only eat the food with "their sauce" they dont have bbq or ranch or anything. They had some kind of mustard but the girl in the intercom charged me for it without telling me. Good thing i checked with the nice gentleman that handled the order once finally making it to the drive thru lol. I parked in the kfc parking lot across the street so I could buy the rest of my meal and actually get some bbq sauce lol. I tried their sauce in their parking lot at Canes, only to find out i hated its sweet flavor on the chicken and could not enjoy the fries with it. I had to go get some bbq sauce. My fries were hot but way overcooked. So inedible unfortunately! Very dry and some were still frozen. Just thank god i didnt get in an accident in the narrow parkinglot they created with the cones. they ground was painted directing to the drive thru i had to back up and turn left. Then after the curve saw there were 2 lanes. I got stuck behind a huge truck behind 1 vehicle initially. Then the entire drive thru backed up! could not understand why we have not moved for 10 minutes!. I could have had steak for what I paid and not had to throw away my fries..These people need to get some smokey bbq sauce and some ranch. if they were smart, they would get jal. nacho cheese sauce. some kind of corporate power trip there. Overall ZERO stars in my opinion. Bad franchise placement. If you have this much traffic and can only afford to have 1 window at a time taking all those people placing orders, hopefully you get more 1 star reviews like this one so you go out of business and we the consumers can get a better service and product for our hard earned money. Rather than ask the government to be our mommy and daddy and pay for our food as we see growing more and more as population grows. Its sad you cant enjoy a different pinoy culture of chain quality chicken fried golden brown only to find out all of this when you drive there! Huge hassle and waste of money. I am going out to dinner now to a different establishment. get me...
Read moreMy family and I made an online order for pickup at the Cuyamaca location on 3/2/2023. Raising Cane's website stated pickup time for our order was at 6:32pm. Raising Cane's sent an order confirmation email with instructions to "enter the dining room and pickup our mobile order." When we arrived at 6:32pm to pickup our meal, a polite employee notified me that it was being prepared and they would bring it to us as we waited in the dining room. At 6:55pm, more than 20 minutes later, I saw our order placed on a rack for mobile pickup. As I proceeded to get our meals, like other patrons did, Cassie (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly as she was not wearing a name tag), the store manager, began berating me for getting my own meal and crossing a non-visible line which placed me too close to her employees. While I applaud all managers who try to keep their employees safe, there was never a visible line that I crossed nor signage that stated that patrons were not allowed to get their own mobile orders. Furthermore, Cassie could have asked professionally to help me get my order instead of being verbally abrasive and raising her voice. To be clear, the rack wasn't in a back area, the rack was next to the front counter. Because of Cassie's extremely unprofessional behavior we will not be going to this location again. It is possible that Cassie was having a rough night which led to her outburst so I strongly encourage Cassie to revisit how to act professionally and courteous to customers. I also suggest that the mobile order rack be moved OR signage and a visible line be placed that clearly communicate that employees will get mobile orders for customers. That will help customers like me to follow the proper restaurant protocols. As for our food, while the toast and fries were hot and fresh, our chicken was cold and dry. I DO NOT recommend visiting this location due to leadership's unprofessional behavior, long wait times, and poor food...
Read moreFood was good, probably some of the best fried chicken I have had that's not homemade. The reason I am giving 3 stars is the customer service...it was bad. I ordered ahead on the Raising Canes app and I ordered it for a 7pm pickup. Order was not ready when I got there...ok cool..I can wait a few minutes. I did ask the kid at the counter and he said my order was being worked on. Waited and waited...15 minutes pass...they still haven't called my name...so I go back to the counter...different kid can't find my order so he goes and gets his "manager ". This person was maybe 19 years old...asked to see my order on the app and then went to figure out what happened. Best answer they could give me was that they didn't receive the order because I didn't press a button on the app that wasn't there. It was something to show that I had arrived at the restaurant. First, the app had no such button and the "manager " verified this as well and 2nd, why would I need to arrive to the location before the order got pushed through to be made...the order was for a 7pm PICKUP...that means have the food ready to go by 7pm. Now this is out of the staff's control, I understand that. The bad customer service comes from the "manager " when asking them questions about how the app works and why this would happen, telling me "I don't know ". No offer of giving me some BS line of they'll look into it further and escalate the issue to corporate..I worked customer service for a long time...I know it's BS...but it's about making your customer seen and heard and not just blown off. Raising Cane's please pay your employees more...pay them enough to give a f!@% because that made me not ever want to go there again. The chicken is good but not good enough to put up with bad technology AND bad...
