UPDATE: March 7 2018 Growlers Pub has been sold and according to the new owners will reopen after some minor renovations. They will also now serve food. Unknown if the pub will have a new name.

A nondescript neighborhood type bar with a mostly neighborhood crowd. The time I visited there was a mixture of college students from the two nearby colleges, New College of Florida and Ringling School of Art and some older folks. The parking can be tight on busy days and when you visit for the first time the building can be missed, keep your eyes peeled! After being told we had a designated driver the bartender comped him with a couple of sodas. She was very friendly and very attentive! A very neighborly pub. Go have a drink. There's outside seating too.
