Cubby's — Restaurant in Saratoga Springs

Came through the drive-thru this last Friday right before 4pm. I order a single patty LeSquish burger. A whoopie pie and a regular sized Diet Coke. With a two dollar tip - it came to $19 and some change. I was starving as I hadn’t eaten since breakfast-this day. And - This place was recommended to me by a coworker…as my family and I moved her almost a year ago. So, I thought I’d give it a try. Lady that took my order and payment was incredibly sweet. She told me to pull up to the yellow sidewalk and wait. Let me tell you… I waited. I waited for close to a half hour for my order to be walked out to me. I sat at the yellow curb, while an employee walked out once, then twice to cars parked in the two waiting spots. After which, another lady came out and told me to pull into one of the free spots. Mind you… it wasn’t too busy. There was one car in front of me and for the longest time, no one behind me. Tell me why-a truck pulled up behind me-ordered… another car or two came behind him…. But this truck received his food before me… as did the vehicle behind him. And that’s why they needed me to move. Finally this guy comes out with my tiny bag and verifies it’s my order. Omgoodness, let me tell you this… I’ll never return or recommend this place to anyone. I truly need to ask, did yall forget that I was there? No apology for the long wait… nothing. And I truly must say-the almost $20 meal was a complete rip off. Could have gotten 2-3 burger meals - entire meals from a fast food joint in no time. Sorry, but this was so not worth it. And left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’ll never give this place a second chance. Best of luck Cubby’s I’ll drive a little further to Wendy’s next time. Thanks...

Date night. We have always loved Cubby's and with this new opening, let's give this one a try. It's the rice crispy treat that makes my wife suggest this often. So of course that was the first thing ordered. Two. So I get some! I got the tri-tip sandwich "El Caliente". I think it was a bit overloaded with the peppers but it was still a good sandwich! I always get the buffalo blue cheese fries. Was disappointed with these ones. It's like they took the last of the fries cooked a while before and gave me those. They were cool and soggy. Tasted good but could have been better. Wife got the chicken salad. Chicken was a bit dry but she said she liked it. Ate just about all of it! The, for the lack of a better word, eating compartments, was weird. Seemed to make it noisier than it would be without them and just had open eating areas. Would we be back? Yes. Hopefully the...

Stopped for food a little late on a trip with my boyfriend. The food was ok, my sandwich was cold and the tri-tip was crunchy the salad was bland and the avocado on both meals was brown and rotted but the service was the best part, the girl hands me a full drink without the lid and dumps it all over me and my vehicle, my phone, my I pad, my Apple Watch the middle council and my boyfriend. All they said was so sorry. Ok, well I’m on a trip I’m now soaked my whole car is sticky my phone won’t charge due to said being in the port but they’re sorry so I guess that makes it ok!? Super dissatisfied. And the best part is I just had my seats professionally shampooed and interior detailed for the trip. Thanks guys. I’m glad I was not it my WRX in a work suit!
