Overall not a good first experience. I came here with my fiancé for lunch while things were slower before the Friday night rush.
The positive: the bar is nicely designed, good atmosphere and a lot of seating.
The negative: service was slow for a Friday afternoon lunch. Our waitress didn’t really check back with us, only when she took our order and delivered the food. I got the fish and chips, which I would recommend passing on. I’ve had my fair share of Gordon’s frozen beer battered fish fillets from the frozen section, and this is exactly what was served for $16. The cocktails were also VERY watered down. Beer menu just covers the basics (Bud, Coors, Uinta, etc.)
I really wanted to like this place and keeping in mind this place just opened, I still have to rate this place two stars based on my experience. Hopefully, they will make some adjustments. I’ll more than likely visit in the near future to give them...
Read moreGood vibes here. Bring your ID and be prepared for some fun drinks and delicious bar food. Our server, Ginger, was on top of it. Very busy and loud on a Friday night, but food and drinks came reasonably fast.
8/10 - Grilled buffalo chicken wrap. Flavor was nice. I recommend a side of blue cheese and buffalo sauce, but you do you ;)
9/10 - Loaded pastrami sandwich. Nicely toasted (although the crust was a little unweildy and tore up the roof of my mouth like cap'n crunch in the morning... Iykyk...), the pastrami was flavorful and juicy. The mac and cheese on it was the perfect amount of creamy and cheesy. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce which was a nice addition.
10/10 - side: sweet potato fries. Crispy on the outside and pillow soft in the inside. Fry sauce was tasty too.
6/10 - side: chips and salsa. Chips were thin and crispy but not warm. Salsa was strange. Sort of a sugary salsa that I...
Read moreWe usually love this place but our 3rd time here was a bit disappointing. My husbands jerk wings came out plain and instead of cooking a new batch for him the waitress (Ryann W) offered to have the kitchen “toss them in some jerk”. She returned with the same (now cold) batch of wings with what looked was sprinkled with seasoning. He gave them a fair chance and took a couple bites and almost choked on the dry seasoning. When the waitress asked how the food was he politely said he didn’t want them. She snatched those wings up and huffed away like an angry toddler. She even sent another server to close our table out. Being a former waitress I understand how important it is to tip well for good service and I usually tip very generously when treated and served with stellar customer service. She did herself (and the establishment) a huge disservice by acting...
