This was our first time here, and unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered a French onion soup, chicken pesto panini and the all meat omelette, as well as the peach guava mimosa. The soup was just ok and the mimosa didn't really have a distinct flavor of either peach or guava (was not very refreshing either), but that's not the main reason why I'm writing. The chicken panini was really awful. The bread seemed like they had pressed stale bread. It was not flavorful and it was dry, which I think is quite difficult to do on a panini considering there are a lot of oils from the pesto. The chicken was extremely dry and the whole sandwich was flavorless. Half the sandwich was also missing the red bell peppers. I ended up ordering more pesto sauce and splitting my sandwich to be open face just to enjoy the fillings more.
The omelette was significantly overcooked and gummy. The hash browns were dry and mushed together. No flavor either.
I'm sorry to say that the ornamental fruits on the plate were the best part. On top of this, our waiter wasn't very friendly, but in a good note he was attentive.
As a summary, the food had no flavor, and especially considering the price, it was definitely not worth it. It came out to about...
Read moreLovely space❣ We were on the covered porch, in the "Breezeway". It was cool and airflowed fresh. I was with a womens group of 12 and all enjoyed the setting. As a big group they were very sweet to do separate checks, but this also meant that some of our group didn't get their orders only some of the others were almost finished with their lunches. Variety of menu items with hit or miss reactions: Bowl of Onion Soup was huge, full of onions and very tasty. As was the bowl of Oatmeal with berries (minus the onions and onion taste) Turkey "Salad" panini was stringy. Grilled Chicken was good, as was the Vegetarian Croissant. Spinach Salad was well received and so was the Club sandwich. A generous portion of Homemade Chips with many of the of the sandwich was also liked. I had the Crêpes Santa Cruz, which was a deconstructed crepe with only the crab inside the the crepe; capers, salmon, and shrimp were located around the sides of the plate, very french plating. It was not what I expected, so I really wasn't into it. parking was in a lot across the street, and seemed to be liked by all who used it. All and all it is a very nice place. I think i will come back with a smaller group on a rainy day; the...
Read moreThis is my first time here. The food is delicious, but there's a lot of room for improvement.
There's a large (loud) group outside, so we decided to sit inside even though it's a beautiful day.
There was a bit of a wait by the door before we were greeted. Then a longer-than-expected wait before we were asked for our order. The food took quite a bit of time as well. Maybe close to 30 minutes.
Once the food finally came we asked for more coffee but eventually I got up to refill it myself.
The food was really good, but the potatoes were a bit dry. Would have loved it if there was a cup of fresh salsa available. Since everything took so long I wasn't about to ask.
Got the check and credit card receipt without a pen. Not a huge deal, but pretty inconvenient.
The employees were scrambling around and working really hard so I'm not sure if they're understaffed or inefficient, but it wasn't very crowded.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food. Would not come here if I was in a time...
